Thanks for putting this up. I'm looking forward to the late part of the card, if I can stay awake.... good luck Dennis y familia!
|
I like Zophie and Jonesboro as singles as well.
But I'm inclined to try and beat No Sleep at the 1-5 she may be. I'm not real keen on the trainer switch, or on the 2nd race off the layoff of a hard race. Stranger things have happened than one like that getting beat. Big race is wide open. Looks like the spread leg. Good luck to everybody. |
I'm hoping Tracy Hebert wins a few tonight. I gotta make a call and see if the Rocket is live in the feature.
|
Playing the all stakes pik-4
Race 5- #1 jonesboro and #6 High Strike Zone Race 6- #4 Appealing Zophie race 7- #3 No Sleep, #5 Space Cruise, #6 Culinary race 8- # 1 Exchanger, #4 Go Poppa Fuze, #5 Officer Rocket, #6 Iceman Cometh, #9 Pirates Deputy 30 dollars per each dollar play |
Steve You got a pick 4
You got anything for the pick 4
|
P4 play
1,5/4,5/3/1,2,4,8 3X 1,5/3/3/1,2,4,8 1X 1,5/4,5/4/1,2,4,8 1X 1,5/4,5/3/5,6,9,10 1X 1,5/3/3/5,6,9,10 1X $96 play for a buck |
Toby Keith is going to unload on his homebred #4 Go Pappa Fooze. I still like Officer Rocket as my top selection. The PK4 is definitely worth a shot.
Good Racing Luck |

Thanks
So far so good

Steve, Nice selection with Jonesboro, ask JJ to tell you the story about the Meche brothers, unreal. I met them during the BC week at Lone Star. I think we're going to get a nice price on Sixty Rocketts tomorrow. Good Luck the rest of the card.
|
bogey fine job on the six last week..

What up with Sixty Rocketts

Where is Sixty Rocketts running tomorrow and why do you like him? Best of Luck PSH |
I don't think Appealing Zophie is a layup here. Her BC was good, but 2/5 is an insane price. If I knew I could get 20-1 on Meadow Breeze I would have rethunk making her a 2nd tier choice.

PSH, Steve took the words out of my keyboard. Steve, I will definitely post my selections after the Jackpot. Nice score at Calder, just a warm up for tomorrow. |
Ground Hog Day at Delta Downs?
Reminds me of BC day with the 1 horse winning 4 straight on the dirt.
|
wow, the fact that the 5-8 and 8-5 exactas in the jackpot are both at a $68 will pay with 3 min to post is mind boggling.
i wish i had account wagering here in this lovely state right now, i'd be all over that exacta box |

good performance by the winner though -- nice move around the turn |
21 4/5... 44 4/5... pretty insane. guess Victor wanted the front end.
|
P4 pays $22,000...
|
p-4 $22.2k.
Super $3,200. Super paid super. 5-1, 4-1, 9-1, 9/2 = $3,200. |
Poor decision making by Joe Bravo on Xchanger. Lost his considerable momentum when forced to slow running up heels of a tiring Pappa Fooze on the backstretch, and then failed to dive inside when given the opportunity right into the turn. Jersey Joe.. Yeesh.
|
Not like me to say something like this, but what is Rick Violette do to keep Seth Klarman's business? I don't get it. Klarman keeps buying nice stock and Violette gets nothing out of them.
This may sound self-serving because I'm close to Sciacca, but the fact is that Gary did MORE with LESS for Klaravich than Violette does. Gary had NYB Currency Arbitrage for Klarman and won several hundred thousand with him with a few stakes... I think Shot Gun Scot was their's too... |
And while I'm in an annoyed frame of mind and mad at myself, tonight should be evidence of why I normally give out 4 horses in races... NOT DOING SO IN SHORTER FIELDS TONIGHT has cost a bunch, as the winner in the 9th was my 4th and the Desormeaux winner in the Princess was as well... Instead, I tried to pick narrow in narrower fields and cost everybody who plays wide a lot of money. Sorry..
|
3 dumb Cajuns=
1ST THESE 2 TOTALLY FRY EACH OTHER Meadow Breeze.... Bourque, Steve Appealing Zophie... Meche, Donnie then, this genius sets a sub 45 half Go Poppa Fooze... Theriot, Jamie and this guy wasn't much more patient either Officer Rocket (Gb).... Hebert, Tracy Actually,I don't know what Victor could have done.I mean this idiot on Fooze sets a sub 45,and Victor was probably told to get Malt into the race early. You put a good purse on the line and these Cajuns sure show you how to go way too fast on the front.I didn't play a thing.I just was watching, and couldn't believe how stupid some of these Cajuns rode up front. |

nobody is obligated to play them, and if they aren't comfortable going short in races with small fields, then they would have gone deeper. as good as you've been, any handicapper who structures a bet around what someone else thinks exactly is missing the whole point of the game. therefore, it's their own fault for not going deeper in a short race -- not yours for making a decision to not go deep in any leg. i appreciate what you put out there...it's just like public handicapping -- putting yourself out there is a big deal. it's everyone else's choice as to how to assess your picks |

that was a horrible ride of AZ in the filly race what a joke I wonder why Espinoza or Gomez didn't get the call it was a Blasi horse, you go with the top guys when the money is on the line. Most the jocks in the Jackpot must of thought they would get paid if they were leading after 3/4 of a mile |
I got home and caught the tri in the finale thanks to Steve's picks.
Thanks, champ!! |
