Nothing warms the heart like a Saffie/ Noda exacta.

Based on how Noda’s horses have run so far, safe to say he brought the REALLY GOOD stuff with him upstate this year.

McPeek with some candid comments before the race regarding the 6.
He thought a 1m16 off the turfer was run at 7f, not 9f.
Basically told us that he wasn't too confident...she faded badly at 2-1

Surprisingly, yes.
The confusion was that he was mistaken about the new distance....a 2yr old race will be shortened to 7f but all others will go at 9f.

I’m shocked a trainer doesn’t know that.

But to announce it like that and look like a mook is even worse. I pitched the 6 so was loving it when he said it.

Eric Cancel rode the 6 like a stooge. Just Brutal to watch him drag him back to last and then go 7 wide on the clubhouse turn. Despite this he still had a shot until he steered into traffic with a ton of hoss under him .
