yeah...they are OFF....so Placido was scratched

Scav 11-16-2006 10:10 AM

bitch, we should have claimed Delafield at Hawthorne yesterday for 10k and shipped him to Tampa Bay to run in their turf races, called Lezcano and given us a reason to go to Tampa Bay every two weekends.....

Early DD

Wide open 1st race...but I see a little something in the 2nd I like.

#6 PAGAN EVENT in the 2nd...ML 15-1. Was a non-factor in his debut, but was still shown some love at the windows...going off at 8-1. Callazo has given him almost a full month off since that race, but has worked him a couple times in between, including a bullet 3F. Cuts back from 7F to 5.5F and also gets lasix for this race. Would not be surprised to see a much better effort today from him.

the plays

all/6 with an extra press 4,7/6

Buffymommy 11-16-2006 10:59 AM

Warning heavy showers may be heading that way this afternoon. It may not come until tomorrow, but just wanted to give you the heads up.

DAYUM...almost get a $46 horse in the first leg using all. Get an $8 one instead. The 4 ran well at 14-1...just tired a touch in the final bit....he led them the whole way for an awfully long time.

GPK 11-16-2006 11:32 AM

will pay is showing $314 for $2 to PAGAN EVENT.

Lets root this one home for 'ole GPK and I will call it a day:D

Race 3

An off the turf route for N3L.

#1 Drums of Thunder is taking tons of action, but he is going 2 turns for the first time....no thanks.

I am going with #2 Dukes Flying Tiger if he stays at 3-1 or higher.

#1 wins at 9-5 for fun...but may be taken down.

#2 goes off at 9-5 and runs 2nd....so was a no bet for me...and may get put up.

GPK 11-16-2006 12:42 PM

Race 4

I like Family Credit if I can get 5-1

Scav 11-16-2006 12:44 PM

Guy, I also like the 4 here quite a bit, I had both 4 and 8 in my pick three ticket...

Box the 4 and 8 and win money on the 4

I need better than 7/2 on that 4

Scav 11-16-2006 12:48 PM

All I know is that TG wise he blew this field away and should improve, could care less since I don't have anything invested since they refuse to try Placido in the mud

Scav 11-16-2006 12:49 PM

Yo, check this out

http://racing.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=36405

Yeah...like we would make it out of that city alive between the casinos and that track....dead, broke or both.

FYI: going to the bosses again tonight for poker, do I win 2 weeks in a row?

1-8-6-2

4 either finished 5th or 6th.

The 8 should have won...but broke poorly and was left with too much to make up...

you dump and take his wife home...and don't try and tell me that you 'try' dumping, call to the river and fold

Then the next time is when you get all rounder on them

I will most likely dump tonight as they don't play for a ton. I just don't think they would be too happy if I roll my first 2 weeks there. Supposed to be a decent size crowd tonight though. I will be hard pressed to dump then.

GPK 11-16-2006 01:13 PM

Race 5

Gonna try BACK TO REALITY.

ac track not all that close to the downtown AC. PRobably 30 minutes or so. Be careful dumping.... don't wind up like Worm.

I'm not sure they run more than a few days a year at ACRC anymore.

Tampa anytime. 4 hour drive. Hell, when I was 16 we used to get up in the morning and decide to cut school and drive from Detroit to Columbus or Chicago to catch t-breds in the winter. It ain't nothing.

I just really hate Atlantic City to be honest with you.

SentToStud 11-16-2006 01:51 PM

i went to AC once about 15 years ago. Didn't care for it. This year, Tampa and Fairgrounds. Some day, the southern coast of Spain where they run on the beach.
