As we move along to say goodbye to 2020, Cal828 adds minor points with a 4th in Pts to share the early lead with JB and Ruffian stays pat in the three hole. DonGuido nails the Pts win with a rather modicum score keeping the 4th rung of the ladder warm. The big Kahuna of the day, Roamin42 hits a big win in ROI moving up the ladder nicely while RealQuie stays close behind nailing the second prize in Pts.

Starting to shape up with Cal828 in the early lead with scores in both contests and Ruffian-333 right behind in the 2 hole with 2 hits as well. DonGuido marking a rare ROI win and 3rd in Pts hangs tough on the 3rd rung of the ladder while JolyB gains minor honors in Pts is right behind DG and Cruzan-200246 occupies the 8 hole with a 4th in ROI.

Cal828 continues to grow his lead with stellar play in both contests and Ruffian-333 stays close hitting in both as well. Don Guido nails a 1st in Pts while Cruzan-200246 moves up a couple spots with a nice 3rd in ROI. And Plenilune makes it a threesome for the 5 hole with another 3rd in Pts.

My sincere apologies to Plenilune for overlooking her up to now for the scores updates. I need a brain cleansing for sure and I might just be getting to old for this "stressful" job. ;)

Alli nails a win in Pts adding nicely to her totals on the 5th rung of the ladder and NJ Stinks garners a pocket full-o-pts with a 2nd in ROI. And Digger joins in with a 1st in ROI and a 4th in Pts as well, good job! Good to have him back.

JolyB has a strong hold on the 4th rung of the ladder scoring a 4th in Points and Cruzan200246 lands a nice 2nd in Points and moves up nicely to join Alli in the 5 hole. Well, we have a new leader, at least temporarily, as DonGuido nabs the first Pts REPEAT of the year while Ruffian-333 stays strong in the 3 hole nice with a 2nd in Pts. Real Quiet takes the win in ROI and moves up two spots taking on the 5 hole.

Digger hits for points in both contests and moves up nicely to form a log jamb on the 6th rung of the ladder. Roamin42 and Plenilune capture minor honors adding nicely to their totals.

Several manage nice moves up the ladder as DonGuido maintains, for now, as the leader with a second in Pts as Cal828 hangs tough in the two hole with minor honors in Pts. Ruffian-333 holds on to the third rung of the ladder but Cruzan-200246 has a big day jumping up three spots to land in the 5 hole with a win in Pts and second in ROI. Digger also move up three now resting in the seven spot joining Plenilune who jumps up three as well and Alli hits minor honors now homing in on ninth place.

Well, I've thawed out from the long one week Texas blizzard, here we go with some changes at the top as Cal828 regains the lead from DG and the big gainer, I mean really BIG is Plenilune who skyrockets from the 7 hole to the 3rd rung of the ladder with her great plays in both contests the past two weeks. WAY TO GO Plenilune!!! No changes other than those with the next big tally of note landed by Real Quiet adding 19 to his total.

Well spring is just around the corner down here, unless Mother Nature wants to pull another fast one on us "Texans". All I can say is, she better not!!! And the first Saturday in May is only 8 1/2 weeks away.:tro::$:

So those who hit some selections for Derby Day, with double points awarded, made some big move up the ladder with Cal828 moving right along as our leader and Plenilune not too far behind. Ruffian made a huge jump into 3rd place with her scores in both picks and wagers as JolyB adds nicely to his totals as well. DonGuido was the only one adding extras for selecting the lengths back of the horse finishing last and Real Quiet moves much close to the century mark.

DonGuido somehow is adding ROI wins to his bag of tricks gaining ground on Ruffian while Real Quiet nabs the Pts win solid in the 6 hole. Alli 4th in Pts joins hands with Cruzan in the 8th spot and Indian Hemp jumps over NJ to take over the 11th rung of the ladder.

Digger leaps over RQ taking the 6 spot hitting a nice first in ROI and Alli nabbing a 4th in Pts says bye-bye to Cruzan taking over the 8 spot all by herself.

Cal828 grabs minor honor with a 3rd in Pts and 4th in ROI and JolyB does the same with a 4th in Pts. Ruffian continues as the leader adding a 3rd in Pts and DonGuido (having a bad case of second-itis) hangs tough on the second rung of the ladder. Cal828 gains ground on the toppers with a nice Pts win and Plenilune adds minor honors with a 4th in Pts. JolyB breaks the 200 points level with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet moves ever closer to that total with an excellent win in ROI.

So lets see how Saturday's Belmont card works for all of us as we get ready to move up the Hudson to the little piece of Heaven called Saratoga. Patty and I would love to be there and take in the oft' pungent Adirondack breezes, watch the fabulous races and reflect on all those keepsake days spent on the mountain lakes in our youth.

Real Quiet jumps over JolyB, now in the six hole, to land on the 5th rung of the ladder while Indian Hemp has a very big day at the cashier window adding winning points in ROI.Roamin hang tough in the 11 slot with a nice 2nd in ROI.

DonGuido, feeling his oats, lands a SWEEP and CATapolts to the lead hitting the 300 mark while appearing to RUFFle the fur of our Colorado kitten Ruffian with her 2nd in Pts now in the two hole, Cal828 add nicely to his totals with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet captures minor honors jumping up to join Plen on the 4th rung of the ladder. And Digger adds to his coffer hitting a 2nd in ROI.

Off to The Spa again to what's in store for us there. The weather report I see says sunny in the AM with possible showers in the afternoon . . . typical summer day in the Adirondacks.

As a side note points totals are way down this year. This time last year Cal828 had a total of 483 pts for the lead and the three behind him all had over 300 pts. Interesting???

The Spa beat us down this week and may continue to as DonGuido added minor honors to his leading total and Ruffian did the same in each contest standing pat in 2 hole. Plenilune hit a nice ROI win and a minor add in Pts while Real Quiet nailed the win in Pts and a runner up spot in ROI to jump over Plen now holding on to the 4th rung of the ladder. JolyB nabs a 2nd in Pts hanging tough in the 6 hole.
