Filly and Mare Turf...

My favorite jockey is Corey Nakatani, and I think that Dancing Edie has a real shot at winning this. I think her speed can hold, and the bet isn't big, but a $20 wps on #1 Dancing Edie!

GOOD LUCK!

Downthestretch55 11-04-2006 12:37 PM

I'm going with OB/Germance

Balletto 11-04-2006 12:39 PM

Im going BIG with Quiet Royal/Ouija Board/Film Maker. I dont know what it is though, My Typhoon worries me!

Pedigree Ann 11-04-2006 12:42 PM

The 3yo fillies look like good ones this year so I went with Wait A While. She won her turf debut (breaking her maiden) on a good turf course last fall in New York, so a bit of cut shouldn't hurt her, if there is some. This sand based course dries out fast.

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 12:47 PM

alright, here is my second bet:
$10 Exacta
Ouija Board
with
Wait a While, Honey Ryder, Dancing Edie

Cost- $30 dollars

Balletto 11-04-2006 12:49 PM

Wow, counting out Film Maker. Brave man. ;)

Suffolk Shippers 11-04-2006 12:52 PM

I'm sitting this one out except for I'm alive with Ouija Board as my single in the early pick 4! So, I'm cheering for her, but I worry about My Typhoon and Film Maker.

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 12:52 PM

yeah, might come back to haunt me, we will see!!

I like your selection with my two as well: WW, HR, SQ, Mauralakana

Bernardini 11-04-2006 12:53 PM

I dont like DE today, than again I didnt like Sreet Sense either.

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 12:53 PM

Balletto, now u have me thinking about Film Maker, and I have no idea what to do!! lol

intense 11-04-2006 12:53 PM

I need Ouija to take this so I can hit that early pick 3. come on Ouija!!!

Balletto 11-04-2006 12:55 PM

In my way of thinking, Film Maker has always run right with Ouija Board every time they've met. Is she better? No. Is she consistent and talented? Absolutely. She's dangerous for a piece... I just dont know how anyone can feel comfortable counting her out.

DerbyCat 11-04-2006 12:55 PM

Satwa Queen and Mauralakana boxed

1st_Saturday_in_May 11-04-2006 12:56 PM

I boxed the 2, 3, & 9 in the exacta....come on Mara!!!

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 12:59 PM

Damn Film Maker, thought Honey Ryder was gonna get up too!

Balletto 11-04-2006 01:00 PM

Ouija Board is amazing. Good job girl! And a great congrats for Film Maker as well!!! She's as solid as they come!!!

Pedigree Ann 11-04-2006 01:00 PM

Okay, Ouija Board wins at 7/5, doesn't change the standings much. Film Maker is just not as good as OB

At least my 'cheap/favorites' ($4) Pick 6 ticket is still alive.

No, she's not. I dont think thats ever been a question... but in every meeting, she's been able to run right with her. She proved it again today.

Balletto,
You are definitely HOT!
In more ways than one.:)

sumitas 11-04-2006 01:05 PM

class through and through, OB, one of the greatest.

Danzig 11-04-2006 01:05 PM

been on this mares back all year, and she rewards all her fans with another brilliant performance! poor film maker, maybe she'll come back for another go 'round next year, since OB will be missing.

way to go ouija board!!! a one of a kind racehorse, been a pleasure!

Balletto 11-04-2006 01:06 PM

Ann's the hot one today! Without question though... I tried to play against her for a price, but she proved she's the most consistently superior horse in the world!

Such a day of history! We might have just seen her last race, $5.7 million with ten wins. Unforgettable.
Ones like her don't come along often.

Balletto 11-04-2006 01:15 PM

Im in complete Agreeance. I've always had a soft spot for top Turf mares and I can honestly say that Ouija Board just took the title of my favorite turf mare ever away from Miss Alleged, who by the way, I never saw race, but was able to "meet" her. What a smart mare and SO friendly!

Danzig 11-04-2006 01:22 PM

i kinda wish they'd have put OB in the turf, she could have handled those guys. been handling some of the best euros gents all year.
