Alabama Stakes 01-13-2018 10:34 AM

NFL playoffs

Everyone is down on the Iggles due to Nick Foles, but I think that the other 21 starters matter too. Philly was the best team all year. I think they will run Ajayi and Blount down the falcons gizzard and play great Dee and get the win at home. Philly +3 and moneyline with a little under 41 sprinkled in.
The titan team can’t cover the tight end, which bodes ill. It’s gonna get cold here tonight. Tough to lay that much wood tho.
Jax whipped the Steelers at Heinz earlier in the year. No reason to think it won’t happen again, as the Steelers are fake. Jax first half moneyline. Jax plus 8 for the game.
Vikings are a juggernaut. Their Defense should win the game, but brees is dangerous, especially if they get the lead. I’ll go with the better QB plus the 5.

Would have loved to see Jack Lambert come on the screen one time and Say
Jack Lambert ...Kent State.
When I was a kid, we rooted for the Steelers too, cause my dad and Tip were friends with Art Rooney.

You guys are in big trouble tomorrow.

Alabama Stakes 01-13-2018 06:30 PM

I find it hard to believe that the eagles will let them in the end zone here. Go defense.

I stopped watching after the refs changed the offside call to encroachment. :zz:
Well, that and the fact that I couldn't take any more of Tony Romo.

I'd like to punch Romo in the face. He hates the pats and Tom Brady (GOAT)
What a disgrace. You are right about the officiating. The refs were atrocious too. We got all the calls, and they got rooked.

knickslions2 01-14-2018 08:18 AM

NFL has to do something about the refs. It's at an all time worse and makes it unwatchable

atolunch 01-14-2018 10:51 AM

Tom Brady (GCOAT)

Fixed that for you, Greatest Cheater of all Time:D

Championship Sunday

In the NFC we have Nick Foles trying to get the iggles past the purple people eating Defense. To me the Vikings had 17-0 lead at home and should have lost if Saints coach Payton didn’t have his head up his ass and give them that present. They won’t be so fortunate in the city of brotherly love/hate. Gotta think the Phillies Dee saves the day and maybe next time the eagles have first and goal they give it to Blount 3 or 4 times if necessary and get in the end zone.
Philly +3’ -120 and philly +150 money line with over 38 sprinkled in.

AFC pits the GOAT vs the up and comers from Jax. Despite the scoreboard, the jags really did whip the Steelers. To me it was never in doubt. They’re just much better than Pittsburgh. They answered every time and knew the6 were better.
As a Pats fan whose first game was at Harvard stadium even before Schaefer Stadium was built, I have seen 99 percent of pats games ever played. I want to believe that the defense has come together perfectly at the end of the season as planned, and the offense has everyone healthy and ready to go. I want to believe that coach has a plan to take away fournette and make a Bortles beat our great secondary up the field. He’s not good enough to do that, and Brady will light those guys up the way Ben did in the second half. Pats win and head to Minny to play the Iggles.......but I just don’t think that the pats are good enough to do it. I would not be surprised to see Jax win by 2 tds.
Jax +10
and also parlay Jax +380 money line and over 46’.
Sprinkle in some Jax first half moneyline +200.

Iam not a big Pats fan but the best game will be Minnesota Pats Superbowl so i got to have what your on thinking Jags.

I do look hope you're correct. Eagles will not lay down. Hope the Vikes can play them.

BOLD statement ....... that would be a bigger upset than last week!
Young talented Jags team, DON'T beat the big bad Pats ;)
Vikes are riding that crest of destiny, if Wentz was there ..... the NFC championship game would be the SB,
BUT without him it's a PATS / VIKES SB ...... just my 2 cents!:D

saratogadew 01-18-2018 07:37 PM

Patriots/Eagles

Eagles win SB

GBBob 01-19-2018 03:01 PM

Line is down to 7 from 9...crazy. I am locked with Jax +9 but might throw a few bucks on the Pats and try and catch the middle

Yours in go Jax!!!

Has anyone outside the Pats seen his hand? These guys are slicker than cat$hit on a wet rock...I wouldn't put it past them to come up with some scheme to try and misdirect the Jag's strategy, they have a history you know...

Home teams in conference championship games traditionally have a huge edge. But the Eagles last several games (Post Wentz vs Giants, Raiders, Cowboys, etc..) haven't inspired much confidence.
Good defense can only take them so far, and it might be enough. But... let's face it...they aren't your typical #1 seed, judging by their performances the past 5 weeks.
And in the other game, I just don't see Jacksonville being able to keep up with NE on scoring. Not sure how they seem to look good against Pittsburgh, but I expect more from the Patriots.
Best of luck to all teams and fans/bettors this weekend.

Patriots 34
Jags 17

Vikes 24
Eagles 13

Alabama Stakes 01-19-2018 06:21 PM

When the Eagles had to stop Atlanta, they did .
When Minnesota had to stop New Orleans they didn't ... at leasta couple of times

Alabama Stakes 01-22-2018 04:42 PM

Nice...

TB12 the GOAT.
Thrilling win by the Pats. Brady is lying about his hand. Reminds me of Pats Irving Fryar who got the same exact injury before the 86 AFC championship game, courtesy of his wife.
Getting your finger bent back does not cause a bunch of stitches. It seems like somebody would have saw something that bloody. When he says something like when I got home my wife was like “ oh ! What happened ? “ that kind of thing gets told to your wife much sooner than when you get home from work. I think he’ll be President some day, and is the greatest living American, but this story is not the truth in my opinion.

I’ll be back with another winner to continue the roll, plus a great prop bet too.
Congrats to the Iggles and their classy fans who threw beers at the Viking team bus after the game, as 38-7 wasn’t nearly enough. Also loved the we want Brady chant. Be careful what you wish for you bunch of mooks

Another iggle fan arrested after sucker punching a poor defenseless hoss. At least he was arrested and caught a tune up from the copper that the hoss was riding.

And this would never happen from the fine folks in Dorchester..PLEASE STOP! The whole throwing snowballs at Santa **** has gotta stop. EVERY fanbase has it's share of idiots.

Now...On to the superbowl!! The iggles will be victorious, and "the boss" will be front and center for the parade down Broad street. :tro:

Eagles fans are in a class by themselves. Where else will you see a family of 4 wearing F$$k Dallas shirts in public. I can't wait until the Pats cheat them in the bowl. eagles fans will be priceless.

Keep in mind that we shouldnt let truth interfere with a good (exhausted and overplayed) narrative. He won't read this because his cornrows are tied too tightly, but to anyone with half a brain it shouldn't be too tough.

Our finest act has yet to be written! Stick around, you'll see, as the Iggs let TB12 & Co. know that new sheriffs are in town. AND THEY'RE STICKING TF AROUND!

Super Bowl

The playoffs went very well in this thread. Keep it simple here. The better team generally wins the game. The pats beat a very very good jags team to get here.eagkes took advantage of home cooking vs dome teams who struggled on road. Bellichick will have a good plan to stop Foles. James Harrison inspires confidence in the still improving defense. If they don't send everybody and get Brady it will be a long day for the philly phaithful. Pats ... wire to wire ...easy

declansharbor 02-04-2018 01:53 PM

The Birds have taken the underdog status and have used it as fuel.

This week is NO different when you’re dealing with a group of guys like the one putting on a show tonight! Just a few more sets of eyes they are about to open is all!
