Like your idea that they should send him. Doubt they do though.

even if sent there is some real pace in this race, faster then his speed, even sent, so while I agree it is a good idea this looks like a very real pace in this race.

Never know with Smith though. He's either gunnin' or Jamie Spencering in the big races.

You're thinking Ghostzapper(Arrogate) vs Roses and May(Gun Runner)? I could see that.

Gun Runners very best race doesn't beat Arrogates visually shitty 2nd to Collected.
Not to mention his 2 blowout wins up here came against very soft competition. Think about one could argue the best horse he bear was Rally Cry. What's that say? I know he beat Keen Ice, but where is his fast race??

I did see that race, it was highly entertaining and profitable.

But I just have a hard time comparing the speed of collected and gun runner to american freedom.

Another problem I have with Gun Runner as the probable favorite.....Pound for pound Collected is better then him.

Collected is a major issue for Gun Runner, actually the Gun Runner camp had to be elated with Diversify winning so maybe he can keep him honest because if not than collected is definitely good enough to win that race.

Back when he was a lightly raced 3 year old, yea, on a surface he hasn't looked "flat" on.

That said, he will be on my very short list of horses I'll have in the BCC on my multis. Let's just hope I'm/we're alive to that point, which should be the case.

I highly doubt Diversify runs in the BC. His connections are smart enough to know he has no chance.

If the race was at any track in NA not named Del Mar, I just might. I was dead set on singling (no matter his post position) up until this week, but that looks more and more like a risky wager. I want 1-2 more horses tops on main ticket in case the Del Mar dirt excuse turns out to be real deal.

I have 1-2 other races pegged as ones that I want to single or go 2 deep in.

Two singles for me are Elate and Bolt D Oro. I think the distaff looks like a very very weak event and I will take the now horse.

You cant single Elate. And you know i love her, and have for a while. How can you possibly let UF beat you? Especially as not the chalk. Its a 2 deep, 2 As race for me. Elate and UF equally.

I said in the other thread, if he was mine it would be Cigar Mile or Clark. Skipping this years BC Classic would be an easy choice. Deep field, w/ lots of speed.

Drefong in Sprint is definitely one for Saturday.

Bolt in the Juvy.

Unique Bella & Highway Star are the only two I'll play in F&M Sprint.

I know, I know, I'm REALLY trying to re-invent the wheel with these early picks lol

I should harm myself for talking singles of races 3 weeks out! :D

I was playing Vale Dori on the turnback in the sprint. Now i dont know.
Unique Bella is good, but shes never faced the types she'll face here.

Leaving Gunnevera off of my ticket is going to briefly cause a heart murmur when he's making his patented move into the turn plucking them off one by one until he flattens out in the lane. BOXCARS if he doesn't flatten out though.

I'll see your Drefong and raise you Lady Aurelia.
