They really let Irad just walk the dog there. I have no idea why Geroux was so far back, never gave his horse a chance.

I just don't get what the rest of the jocks were doing there, did any of them really think they could catch Irad if they let a horse that good just walk around the park?

What was Lezcano doing, the 7 has the speed to go with the 1.

That is the way I read it too. He went bizarrely wide around the first turn and then just let Irad do what he wanted to do.

There were many bonehead rides in there, tough trip for the 6 who really got screwed when the 2 backed up into her. I don't get what Bravo's plan was, he leaves with the 11 and then pulls back to last, why leave with the horse if you are going to pull back to last?

Also, what the hell was Junior Alvarado doing there? That was just bizarre. :zz:

Agree, not only did he not impede anyone, no one can claim that it changed the order of finish.

Albarado was just hoping the stewards might see something to steal the win.

Considering how obviously bad the 8 was washing out before the race, as bad as you ever see, the horse ran a really good race. I would not have touched the 8 there at that price with a 10 foot pole.

Albarado having a stealthy good meet has hit a couple bombs this meet.
