Off a 16 month layoff I made a return to the track. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I did taking.

Gary Stevens must've known that Runhappy wasn't going to fare well bc in this picture it looks like he is doing his best Ronnie Jenkins impersonation. :D

He called for the outrider several times. Runhappy almost refused to walk to the gate. Gary was quite animated and out of the irons, because the horse dug in and refused to move.

These are absolutely phenomenal pictures. I saw BC pictures and was expecting cell phone photos with a bunch of heads in the way. They are great. Best I've seen by far. They really convey what a great day of horses and racing it was.

What the heck is your day job that you're not doing this for a living? You talent is far and in a way a tremendous addition to the sport.
