Shucks, you ruined my thread.
I was waiting for bababooeye to start with his irrational **** again. I asked him if he saw the race on another thread. I was hoping he'd bite here.

The proper response was hey the race was on grass.
Lets see how many jackasses respond to this just off my first post, defending poly before they even knew it was a grass race.
I already gave Hooves kudos for catching the turf winner 20 minutes ago.
I'm sick of guys who don't watch races like you, talking to guys who do as if you know anything.

Seattleallstar 10-19-2006 03:29 PM

this has nothing to do with Polytrack

Intentionally so Dunbar.
read my response to Hooves 30 minutes before I posted this giving him kudos on the grass race he hit. I watch 5 tracks with streaming video live eevery day on Bris. And can tell you anything you wanna know about any of them.
Your the 3rd jackass to bite. I say we get at least 10 more.

i don't think he "bit" -- he was quite clear that he knew the title of the thread was not true.

nice to see you again oracle btw.

SniperSB23 10-19-2006 03:35 PM

That is pretty low Oracle. Putting out false information and trying to make your point in a race where a horse was vanned off? I can't say I have much respect left for you after this thread.

At least someone gets it. Lets see how many people bite Seattle. I even put the chart link up there for a reason, but I can bet you right now that at least 10 imbeciles will read the title, and launch into a tirade about "so what", or something else before they even realize they've been baited. These folks don't even watch races yet impart a ton of wisdom about them every day. I just don't see how you can impart wisdom on something you obviously aren't even paying attention to.

Also don't forget the false information about there being an inch of standing water on the track.

Cajungator26 10-19-2006 03:39 PM

Mike, I don't think that people get your sarcasm. It even took me a second until I realized you were posting this to get a reaction before people even realized that the race wasn't run on the polytrack. :p

Hooves ok it was a dirty trick, but you know I'm sitting here watching 5 tracks right now like I always do.
Look at the responses already.
The "poly advocates" don't even watch races yet they know it all.

Yeah, really gives him a lot of credibility when he tells his stories of all sorts of owners and trainers bashing polytrack in private conversations to him even though none of them are bashing it to the press.

Yeah, but they are dumb Cajun. It doesn't even occur to them that I posted the chart as well. Because I know quite a few won't even open it or read it.

I can't open the charts at work, so I'm clueless. :p

saucon17 10-19-2006 03:46 PM

The only reason I knew because I'm only bet the Keeneland turf
races and given up on the poly track races and only download the turf races and handicap them

Must be the result of being several weeks since Saratoga closed and still being a month until possum huntin' season starts up there.

Cool!! So you also actually watch races before commenting on them?
Seems to be an exclusive club lately.
I realize most work at places where they can't see them live. And many can't even get the replays.
But how can those who don't even see races consistently keep commenting on races they didn't even see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????
It would be like me commenting on the new Nicholson/Dicaprio movie based on reviews I've read rather than watching it.

I didn't bail on anything. I'm a stats freak. I see that the handle has big bumps on weekend days. I'm still interested to see how they finish up this week with no "hooks" or big races.

Downthestretch55 10-19-2006 03:57 PM

Too funny!
Make a cast, catch a fish...bring it home and eat it.
LOL!

The problem with what you are implying is that I can't see where a single person fell into your clever trap, ie commenting about the breakdown without
knowing it was a turf race. Who are the stupid people that you're railing against? Who took your bait?????????????????????????????????????

Ok I know I've thrown this rant before Saturday, but are Joel and I the only ones who find this absolutely absurd????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the **** can anyone sit there and ****ing argue with guys who have seen a race or races as if they could possibly have any sort of valid opinion???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its like the guys who read the sports page in the morning about the game the night before and pretend they saw it and tell you how great so and so pitched. Its lunacy.

see the movie. 3.5 Studs. Nicholson outstanding as Frank Costello. Great dialogue. Costello meets up with an old acquaintance .....

Costello: How's your mother?
Acquaintance: Not well. She's on her way out.
Costello: As are we all. Act accordingly.
