Well, yeah. Why would you go against AP if you didn't have to?

I guess I missed that. That sucks, he's talented.

OTM Al 07-20-2015 07:17 PM

Would be an excellent single race. Think any of these will have more than seven starters? Maybe WV?

Surely don't wish to jinx AP but he will not even be challenged until he faces older. AP runs his race . . . no contest in the Haskell. Bring on the Travers please .. . he wins and crown him whatever you like.

There should be a contest to see who is the second worst poster on this board.

That would be the most competitive race of the season so far. I would expect beyer ratings in the 120 range.

Since you've nailed down being the worst, I'd be happy to play second fiddle to ya . . . if this type of drivel wings your wong. CHEERS!!!

Tencendur won't be running anytime soon. Fractured sesamoid; out indefinitely.

Catalano adds Top Clearance to Haskell lineup.

richard burch 07-27-2015 10:16 PM

prediction time!

With a clean trip, A.P. will win this race by 5-10 lengths if he doesn't try.

11-15 if he does try.

off odds will be 1-9. Hit the all button for the minors.

richard burch 07-27-2015 10:32 PM

...and its very disappointing to not see a better field of horses. I couldnt even find Teklon in equibase. What is he? a Shetland pony?

Its still a huge purse! **** happens in races! Take a shot! Run your horses! Shame.

So beat the horse up for no other reason, other then to make you right? The race was over down the backstretch.

It was a field in which Keen Ice ran second. The race was over before it began.

I think Upstart ran well, especially considering the layoff. He attacked, made a move and flattened out. I would love to see him turn back for the Kings Bishop. And if AP doesn't show up I think he'd be a major threat to win the Travers.

You would love to see him turn back BUT you also THINK he would be MAJOR player in TRAVERS. HUH?

Its really not that confusing, is it? I think he will obviously move forward and be a threat in either spot. Personally I would like to see him turn back for the Kings Bishop then either stretch back out for the PA Derby or Kelso. But if AP were to skip the Travers, I think he could also be a major player in that race. Upstart ran very well sprinting as a 2yr old, and stretched out well because of his class IMO. I think he would be a bull in 1 turn races. But again, the crop other then AP is soft. So if he were to go in the Travers I think he would contend.

Now the crop is soft? The good horses are in the Racing Hospital (figuratively)
Materiality In Abyss
Firing Line Done enough
Dortmund Who Knows
Upstart Ran Ok but his trainer never gets them back regardless of your distance advice
Frosted is OK probably was prepping for best in Travers his Stallion page race
Texas Red will see
Competitive Edge he has entered Abyss
Carpe Diem the fraud he was has done enough
Ocean Knight has been renamed Good Knight Irene
Keen Ice is ok and Romans will keep him in game his horses last

You have 3 legit animals left and Frosted is never beating AP with him falling
