Sweet. My apologies if I sound daft, but who do you have in? I'm sure you've mentioned it, but I don't read every thread here. I'm just now starting to get into this forums groove.:D

Not at all Blue Eyes thats because I have really not mentioned it. He is a 2 year old Colt that has run At Woodbine. He has won his last 2 Starts with the Later being the 225k Grey Stakes at 1 1/16th. His name is Skip Code. I know he is up against it here because it looks like the Juvenile is really strong this year but he deserves a shot.

I LOVE him...

I wish you the best of luck in the BCJ.

Maybe we can get together and talk some horses if you have time. I will be there all week.

PeteMugg 10-16-2006 09:04 PM

Might be going for just Saturday. Me and a bud just winging it, no plans. Haven't been since the late 80's, hope things work out for us.

stevepopyak 10-16-2006 09:15 PM

Arriving in Louisville on Thursday and will be at Churchill on Fri and Sat .... looking forward to meeting everyone.

That would be great. Ask Biancone to describe me to you....think a little Elvis Costello.

Pointg5 10-17-2006 07:26 AM

I might go on Friday, my dad's been sick and missed his first KEE meet in over 30 years, so if he's feeling better I may come down on that Friday with him...

Travis Stone 10-17-2006 08:05 AM

My flight lands around midnight Tuesday... I don't leave until the following Monday morning.

I really like that horse up in Canada, of course my only concern is how he handles the real dirt.
I really liked his last race in the Grey Cup.
You have a little history on your side in this one.
The last time the Breeders Cup was run at CD the winner of the juvenile had won his last prep for the BC in the very same Grey Cup. His name was Macho Uno.

slotdirt 10-17-2006 08:16 AM

There.....

Am I the only one who hasn't received their tickets yet? I was charged months ago, yet still no tickets. Something is afoot.

If someone wants to drive me..

dellinger63 10-17-2006 01:13 PM

Hooves will pick you up it's only a little out of the way. LOL Didn't realize the majority at Bel was Rastas. Couldn't find you JGC w/e.

I didn't go. Didn't wanna see the Yanks lose, then lose $ on top of it and take that long ride home.

You didn't realize most of BEL was rastas? You obviously have never been to Elmont or Queens Village..

Doubt I'm going to the BC since the earliest I could leave is Friday afternoon and the guys are mostly gone by then.

I'll take pics at the Big A.

dellinger63 10-17-2006 10:13 PM

No that was my 1rst trip to Belmont as most of my other NYC trips I never left Manhattan. Never was able to get the timing right to be there when Bel was running. Used to date a girl from Flushing but that didn't last long. Talk about a long ride. She then joined the peace core and went to Taiwan and that commute is tooooo long.

ninetoone 10-17-2006 10:15 PM

I'll be there w/a friend of mine unless something changes...

Cunningham Racing 10-17-2006 10:32 PM

Flying in Halloween day for a party (Tues.) and will be there through Monday morning.....will be on the backside all week watching horses train and will be hopping between the press box and grandstand during the daytime....

Everyone should collect and go to Wagners for breakfast after training hours one morning.....Byk can put it on his expense account :D...j/k...or at the least, maybe we can collect and in the CD grandstand for the races on Friday to do some wagering.....

Seriously, I hope to meet many of you there....If anybody desires to go to the press party Thursday night, I'm sure I could produce a few extra tickets...

press party? that sounds cool...probably would humble me though as I can't bench as much as I used to...Wagners has a great atmosphere...as for their food? they have a great atmosphere.

Yeah, the food blows...but then again, I'm from New Orleans so the food blows everywhere I've been really...

Yeah, so I can lose all of my money betting the ponies with you all before the Breeder's Cup right?:D

I'm game for whatever (either/both). I would love to meet everyone as well.

Is there a card on Sunday or is it like the Derby?

One of the funniest things i've ever heard at the big A (random white guy listening into the rastas' conversation):
"if i ever find this horse 'BLOOD CLOT' i'll be a rich man"

Joel I'll meet you over at Wagner's, but I'll have the water and coffee. The food is umm, well its great if you like everything fried and covered with gravy as well. In NY, no breakfast is served with gravy.
