ATR: SXM channel & time changes, return of replays..
 

As partially discussed the last couple days, there are some changes coming on the network over the next 2 weeks as Sirius 93 & XM 208 become Bleacher Report Radio..

• 1. Starting Tuesday 9/2, ATR will return to 9a-12p..
  
• 2. Next week, 9/2-9/12, we will be on SportsZone Online only..
  
• 3. Starting 9/15, ATR will have new channels: Sirius 220 (Premium) & XM 206..
  
• 4. Morning 6-9a Replays return (!) starting 9/15..
  
• 5. ATR will be available on SXM On Demand soon..

Still some details forthcoming and to be finalized, but didn't want to wait until Monday to try and lay it all out. Will answer as many questions as I can (based on what I have)..

So this means the regular Sirius subscribers are out of luck? :(

The show started on Sirius and now if you don't buy XM you don't get it.

Ive been a Sirius subscriber for 7 years. I"ve never heard of "Premium". But I will get it!

That's a result of XM always having had more Sports channels.. They knew they were going to have MLB so they gave more room to Sports than Sirius.

I just looked it up. Its only 4 bucks more per month for premium package. I will also get internet access which I don't have now. I will also now get the replay show from 6am-9am which I miss when I'm on the road early. Looks like a Win/Win to me!

Also, can you take advantage of the channel change to fix the silly weekend schedule of cutting away at noon PT/3 ET from the live races on HRTV to replays of trainer talk?

Aware of the wasted time on weekends and will inquire about it.

Received updates yesterday and do know that Glenn Ordway will be on 220/206 with ATR 3-6p. HRRN will be on 6-7p Wed-Thurs-Fri. Not positive, but imagine HRTV audio will be on noon-3p.

As mentioned above, latest update from Friday evening..

• Launch of new channels pushed back a week to Monday, September 15..
  
• ATR live 9a-12p (Replays 6-9a next day)
  
• Glenn Ordway Show 3-6p
  
• HRRN 6-7p (W-TH-F)
  
• NHL play by play (2014-15 season)

Sounds like a winner to me since I have missed the replays during my drive time to work. Someone quoted $4 per month upgrade for the package to include "ATR" and if that's true, that's $4 well invested with no 23% track takeout. I am in!

Any word on how this will impact Dave Johnson and Bill Finley and their Down the Stretch Show? Used to listen on weekends, especially on my way to the track.

Down the Stretch and the HRRN Saturday morning show were both on Sirius 92 this last weekend, don't know if that will continue going forward or not.

Upgraded to Premium this morning. Took literally 5 minutes via phone. Good to hear Steve's voice back on my radio.

Yes.. Saturday programming is tied on at Sirius 92 & XM 92.

The one wrinkle this week has been our availability on Online 964 (instead of 962).

Yes. Other than ATR (9a-12p live; 6-9a replay), HRRN is available 6-7p Wed-Thur-Fri.

Equine Forum & Down the Stretch are on Sirius 92 & XM 92 Saturdays.

All the programming -- including the fill-in HRTV audio -- is available at Online 964.

My Sirius radio is unable to exceed channel 184 and I've heard no HRTV audio fill-in programming on XM 206; just "programming will return later".

Sirius 220 is part of All Access/Premier package which is $4/mo above the basic subscription. For now, HRTV audio appears to be available only on SXM Online (962/964).

Happy to have the morning replays back, but not sure why they had to dump 2 hours of HRRN for "programming returns later" loop. :zz: I liked listening to a race or 2 on my way home.

yes, but they used to have HRRN from 3:30-7, not sure who would listen to Glenn Ordway outside of Boston.
