BC Tickets

I have a BC ticket for sale if anyone is interested. I ordered two tickets, but won't be needing but one. See, my fiance's mother was going to the BC with me until I broke up with him last week. No one else can get off of work to go with me and I want to go by myself anyway. Of course, if you are interested, you'll have to put up with sitting beside a hollering little blond chick who loves Lava Man, Bernardini, Gorella...well all of them;)

The ticket is First Floor Clubhouse, Section 117 (right at the finish line), Row I, Box 10, and Seat 5 or 6 (I'm not picky; if anyone is interested you can take your pick). I'm asking what I paid for it: $530.

If anyone is interested; PM me and I'll get back with you ASAP.

Eek! Isn't face like $35 for that ticket?

Heck no, the face value is quite a bit more than that. In fact, all of the tickets that I have looked at in various websites that are in that same area are that expensive right now. It's ridiculous, but it was well worth buying them, even if I don't get the dang thing sold. I needed the vacation...

Glad i'm important. I got a free pass to millionaires row. I'd throw a baby fit if I had to pay $535 to sit with the commoners. :o

Pointg5 10-10-2006 01:15 PM

I am pretty sure that's the same box I sat in for the BC in 2000, face value was $75 at that time, they're great seats...

Talk about inflation if so. Damn.

The Bid 10-10-2006 01:16 PM

For 535 youre going to have to throw in something "extra" for that ticket

Well, then I guess I may see you on the backstretch throughout the week in Louisville then Pillow Pants.

OMG... LMFAO... geesh.

Jessica, I'd buy it, but I'll be at some Nascar deal that weekend... have a good time! ;)

eurobounce 10-10-2006 01:19 PM

My ticket cost be $37. Section 119 or at the 16th pole right where they bring the horses out of the paddock.

I'll be there. It's the best city within a city in the world.

Sorry, I'm already taken.;)

No, I'm serious, you can't get these tickets for cheaper anywhere else right now. Seriously. I got them from Stubhub.com and all of them were this expensive in this section I checked out several ticket websites too and this was the cheapest site.

Cajungator26 10-10-2006 01:20 PM

By the way, Jessica...

I'm pretty sure that a certain somebody will be more than happy to "eat your ticket" for you if it's got ranch on it... :D

Yeah it took a spot in millionaires row to break me away from the hdtv.

The Bid 10-10-2006 01:22 PM

If one c note comes out of my wallet I expect pants to drop.

It's not that bad at Churchill, but it was a total mess at Lone Star, at least CD can handle that crowd...I may go down the Friday before if there's Live racing, since I am boycotting Keeneland...

slotdirt 10-10-2006 01:26 PM

Seriously, I applied for tickets, and that section was around $100 per. My section 122 seats were significantly cheaper.

I'm probably going to Keeneland friday so I can see the changes they've made. Kind of curious if they have HD or just HDTV's with 480i video feed.

I haven't talked to that skank in weeks. Last time I talked to her she had a fever blister and tried to kiss me.

You don't know who I'm going out with. I know several of the people that are going, plus I have friends in Kentucky. Plus, the NC team is going to be in Louisville competing in educational horse competitions that weekend as well. It's going to be a fun time.

slotdirt 10-10-2006 01:36 PM

Has anybody thought of a DT Breeders Cup gathering, or is that just not a good idea?

I know who Bernardini is. He told me he's ready to settle down yet.

That might would be a good idea. It might would be a possibility, but I would have to check my schedule and see what else is going on before I could give you an answer. I would love to meet you all though.

The only thing that Bernardini would ever get from me is a pat on the neck, a hug, and a kiss on his muzzle. LOL.
