This field looks a little tough to take even money on anyone. The 5 has a bit of a look of a bridesmaid, but her figures are very competitive, if the 1, 3 and 4 mix it up on the front end, could set up nicely for the 5 or 6.

The 4 and 5 look to hook up in a speed duel here setting this up for a closer. The 7 is logical particularly with the way Jerkins' horses are running right now, but the 9 is real interesting coming out of a very fast race and projects to get a great setup here. I know I am asking a bit much for Montanez to win 2 races in a row, but at 8-1, I will take a shot.

That sure didn't go as I expected, particularly with the 5 breaking bad and I surely didn't take into account the Jacobson elixir.

Kudos to Rosario Montanez on the 9 for managing to get his horse blindswitched in the stretch with the rail being one side of it in a spread out field. Incredible. :wf
