Sometimes I just cannot understand the reasoning of jocks. Why did Taylor Rice feel it necessary to come back out and overtake the 7 so early in the race when she was sitting in a perfect spot behind that horse and could have waited to challenge that horse in the stretch?

Instead, she decides it necessary to make an early move and force her horse into a 46 and change half ensuring that that her horse will have nothing left in the stretch and setting the race up perfectly for everyone behind her (except for the 7 who she forced to the fast half). Absolutely mind boggling to me.

I'm so relieved that the stewards spent all that time on a second and third placing when they ignore herding by winners on a daily basis.

I should have played my original pk4 ticket which was a $1 base and $60 ticket that tossed Mensa Heat and went only 1,3 in the 8th.

At least I added to the kitty today! Hopefully bodes well for Preakness Day.
