Phillip Seymour Hoffman Dead
|
Great actor...what a ****ing shame.
|
just heard the news. i feel for his family.
|
Unforunately when you choose to dance with the devil this is often the outcome.
|
Matter of time. Stay off the sauce kids.
|
now they are saying he was found with the syringe still in his arm. Terrible.
|
and what they think are packets of heroin.
|
Sadder thing is that he was clean for 20 years and then relapsed in 2012.
|
Loved this guy. Crazy talented. RIP

Just read the street price of Ace of Spades/Queens stamped heroin, now known as killer went up.
That's how sick the habit is. |
Very sad
Tremendously talented actor. Sad his kids will grow up without a father. :( He obviously made a horrible choice and payed the ultimate price. His choices of film roles were very strong. Everyone's seen and knows how brilliant he was in Capote for which he won the Oscar. I found a clip on YouTube of a brilliant film from 1998 that he was very good in Todd Solondz's "Happiness" where he played the very disturbed Allen. Warning graphic language in this clip.

Was fortunate enough to be 'forced' to watch 'A Late Quartet' on a flight a year or so back. It focused on Christopher Walken's character but Hoffman accented the flick like red on a Ferrari.
Strongly recommended |

Thought a final review I read, 'ultimately he failed in his most important role as a father and partner' pretty much covered this tragedy.
So many artistic greats gone so early makes one think drugs may have been involved in not only their deaths but? Is heroin an artistic steroid? |
frank lucas thought so..

Or are you saying they're prone to risky behavior, heroin being one of them? |
