Live it Up! ~ Tampa Bay Challenge
 
Tampa Bay Downs will be hosting the Live It Up Challenge, a free online contest that begins Feb 1 and runs through April 5. The contest will require players to make 1 pick out of two designated races each racing day at Tampa. The goal is to accumulate the largest bankroll based on mythical $2 WPS wagers. The only catch is that if your pick fails to hit the board, you will receive a strike, and after the third strike you are out. With only one pick per day, I suggest there will be lots of players eliminated.

The grand prize is an entry into the 2015 National Handicapping Championship and $1,000 cash (no mention of a travel allowance or accommodations). Prizes will also be given for 2nd and 3rd places, with a bonus prize for most winners.

I checked the site earlier and they had a clock clicking down to midnite tonite so guess they will post the races in morn...

I just emailed these clowns, and told them a lot of people couldn't get a pick in and this should not count as a freakin strike!:mad: I was gonna try the #8 here!

I finally got the site around 2pm but the races weren't displayed and couldn't get pick in...I assumed they would cancel today's contest...Let us know what they say when and if they answer you..

Due to the overwhelming amount of interest and registrations, the contest
site is moving to a new server! All bank rolls and lifelines will be reset and and Saturday the 1st will be considered a test day. We will also be awarding everyone an extra life line.

We will resume the contest tomorrow on Sunday Feb 2, 2014. Contest races will be races 6&7. Links to complimentary DRF PP’s are below.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
