incognito=creep
good riddance to bad rubbish. the colts and patriots both had him as DNDC (do not draft-character issues) when he was up to be drafted.
started sending nasty texts when schefter was reporting, one demanded his name be 'cleared'. yeah, not gonna happen there richie. he'll never play another down. good. too bad there are people like this out there to begin with. |
Someone else will pick him up. Maybe not this year but he is just good enough that he will get another shot

i just wonder how much grief is too much to take on.
but then, he may do the roethlisburger apology deal, and get picked up by someone. he wouldn't play for me, that's for sure. and why they put that guy on their 6 member 'leadership' team is beyond me. |

looks like the apple didn't fall far at all from that tree.

I'm amazed that this story is still going strong despite virtually nothing new for days.

there are leaders who can help guide rookies. then there are people like incognito. this would be similar to asking suh to teach how to avoid fines. |

He's a total scumbag. Glad he's gone BUT he's gone for the wrong reason. If they kicked everyone out of football that uses the N word in the locker room or out on the town they would be playing 3 on 3 games this weekend.
This is all about a Stanford grad with lawyer parents looking for a huge payday from the NFL. |

martin erupted after a lunchroom prank. if he changes the culture, which needs changing, good. as for wanting money, i'm not sure that's the goal. |

Richie said, 'Jonathan is like my little brother.' I think that's an accurate depiction. He gave him a hard time. He messed with him. But he was the first one there to have his back in any situation. ” -- Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, on relationship between Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin yeah....cause nothing says i love you like a brother like using racial slurs and telling someone you're going to **** in their mouth. i know it's how i relate to those close to me. i harass them to the point that they quit their job. that's true love right there. and threatening to kill them..icing on the love cake. yep, that way, my sisters know i have their back. :zz: |

A dizzy from you. What a shocker. The only thing more shocking would be for you to pick some winners in your daily play along. Keep picking losers buddy:) |

The more I read about this, the more it looks like Martin didn't want to play football and was looking for a way out.

There is a difference in being a dirty player and being a racist POS. From all accounts, even his former teams I would want Rich on my team. ALso Danzig lets be fair... You post the article about punching him. How about the article that was all over ESPN and twitter today from a former Dolphins player totally blowing up Martins story. Every story. Here is what is really happening. Martin is soft and overly sensitive. Thats OK, I consider myself a sensitive guy when it comes to things like my sons and work, etc.... But its really not OK in an NFL locker room. He was looking for a way out. Why have multiple people including the QB said these 2 were best friends 2 weeks ago????? |

yeah, he's too sensitive...i mean, he should just let those texts just roll off his back. whats a little racism between friends? :zz: |

them closing ranks is akin to cops defending one of their own who is crooked. |
just went to espn, and saw a story about a harassment investigation into incognitos behavior at a golf outing. there's another that says dolphins are 'mixed' regarding martin. wheres the story youre talking about?
|
|
i will read that.
please go to slate, where they have an article discussing why the dolphins are siding with the harasser and not martin. i cant post the link, on the road to our little piece of heaven, on my phone. |
oh, ok, its about the si 'insider' article. they reference it in the slate article.
yeah, as a past victim of abuse, that article doesn't surprise me, because my abuser had plenty of people ready and willing to vilify me and support him. typical behavior. |

and like the one article said, it's a mixed bag of reaction. when you have a group tho, working for a common goal, they don't like stuff like this to deal with. it doesn't mean martin is lying, is wrong, or that incognito is right. no one wants to be viewed as being disloyal by saying anything that could be hurtful to the team. right now, they all just want it to go away. |

I think this is just the beginning of these type of stories. Society has changed in the last 20 years. People used to work out issues at school, in the neighborhood, or at work amongst themselves. People used to deal with their own problems and it worked. Now young adults and children are taught to run as fast as they can to let "adults, teachers, parents, lawyers" whomever fight their battle. People under 35 seldom have had to work out problems by themselves. They have been taught to quit your job, transfer schools, let their parents deal with it etc... instead of working out their problems with each other. Sadly, this is a trend I see continuing. I will put this in context of work but it could be dealing with issues at school or with coaches etc.... This is why it is hard to find good employees, they have never been told they made the wrong decision or their work isn't up to par. When they are, they are being persecuted or their employer is picking on them. People need to take responsibility for their own actions and in most cases work out issues amongst themselves. |
