2013 BC Dream Team Contest (for Special People)
 

Okay here's the deal...

I just read a few comments up in the pad lock (NBC TV coverage) and I was thinking suppose you got to put together your very own broadcast... who would you use?

(Did I mention this is a contest? Well it is and we have oodles of fantabulous prizes which will be provided by Geeker. Thanks, Geekie!)

Da rules...

You must pick FIVE individuals, all sorta kinda racing related.

ONE must be someone from Nerdy Trail
ONE must be a dead person (that is my little nod to Cardus cause I wouldn't want to disappoint him)
... and one must be someone who actually has some racing-related, on-air experience.

For all three you MUST list a valid reason. Be creative!

In addition to the main three, the holy trinity if you will, you must pick 2 others for handicapping insight. These two can be anyone but extra points will be given if you pick handicappers who are actually good at handicapping.

The winner will be determined in a yet-to-be-determined manner. In fact I think we might need to have a contest to decide that one but that can wait.

What qualifies one as a "special people"?

We should give a prize to the first person who understands the rules :p

Sighty - because she banged her head she now has superpowers (get well soon!)
Elvis - because I don't think he is really dead, I saw him on 4th Ave with a Hooker last Saturday.
Steve Byk - because I can then say I actually knew someone who won an Ellipse Award (it's coming baby!)
Jerry Bailey - because his forehead just keeps getting bigger
Andy Serling - anybody who can put up with the abuse he get on Twitter needs to be listed. I don't think he has ever Twerted GFY - I would have.

Okay here's mah dream team...

Forum person - Cardus because I love him. He is mean, funny, mean and mean. He is entertaining and this is like 2 birds cause it's a nod to Golfer-ie in a secret way. (Hi, Golfer :{>:).

Dead person - Harry Aleo... a no brainer. No nonsense, no bullshit... imagine the banter between him and Cardus-ie?! Brilliant!

Real live horsie broadcaster - Frank Lyons cause he is hot when he's bombed. Castledale has some nice babies in New Zealand and, Hong Kong aside, nowhere else matters too much in terms of racing. (Well here too aaah guess). Seriously he is awesome. I could listen to him all day.

Two real live handicappers... Pointman and Craig because they are GREAT ****ing cappers.

I don't pretend to understand the rules, but I nominate bigrun from "Nerdy List." He could supply us all the visual aids we need.

It's simple... who would you want to watch doing BC coverage?
