Reload (10/1) is the only horse in this race to have earned higher than 100 on the Beyer scale for a synthetic race.

http://www.drf.com/sites/default/files/HGPHOENIX.pdf

His synthetic form will be masked by those meaningless dirt losses in his recent starts. Hard Spun was a multiple stakes winner on polytrack. Reload will have a huge shot.

Hogy scratching to race on Saturday will help his chances to win too.

Reload has lost by a combined total of 28 lengths in his last two starts. I hope most bettors just look at that.

3-1 @ Post Time at best.

Laugh Track is the other one I like. On TimeformUS, 2nd highest synthetic figure.

Good luck to Hoofit and to Designer Legs.

That said, I'm using Rosalind on top in the Alcibiades. :$:

Even if Rosalind beats me, it wouldn't be so bad to see her win after her connections lost Charmed Hour.

Who won?

tywizard 10-04-2013 05:03 PM

11 Sum of the Parts

And

7 My Conquestadory

7 looked very professional in the win. I can't wait to bet against in a few weeks on dirt. Very reminiscent of the Casse 2YOs last year.

You might be waiting awhile (from DRF):

"Casse noted the filly “has never stepped foot on a dirt track” and therefore is far more likely to run in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, as opposed to the Juvenile Fillies."

Meant to say turf as the race grants entry into that race...Point being I was on Casse's horses last year and got burnt. This horse ran a phenomenal race but it's really unlikely I'll bet it.
