What a horrendous ride by Rocco on the 14. 6 wide on the first turn, an incredibly wide premature move on the second turn which does nothing but what happened, flattened the horse out. :wf

Mucho Macho Man scratched from the Woodward. Guess they better hope it doesn't rain Breeder's Cup Day if they are afraid to let him get some mud on his face. Absurd.

Please forgive me for a delayed response...

My Angle Play goes back to 8/25/2013 Saratoga Race 9,,, #7 Sarava's Dancer, trained by Wayne Catalano was pulled up by Rosie Napravnik and had to be put down,.... and less than 1/4 mile later #1 Kris Royal, trained by Charles LoPresti lost footing on the turn either clipping heels or something and he also had to be put down.

Charles LoPresti was devastated in the lost of this "nice little guy" who was stalled next to Successful Dan.

Just going with the trainer here for moral support if nothing else.

Saratoga Track must be changing.... earlier the outside horses could not get a hold of the surface... now in race 6 both the 11 and the 12 battle for the win.

Very surprised that JV sent Simple Interest for the lead there, didn't he realize there was no way that horse gets the lead against this group and his best shot was to try to sit behind the speed?

Complete fuking nosnse this meet has degraded to.

Hard horse to fathom. Baffert obviously right about not wanting to run Fast Bullet. Sage Valley just put in no effort whatsoever, Justin Phillip really isn't all that good and the Jackson Bend before the accident would have won this.

I didn't see it before the race, but looking back at it, the race was probably ripe for a bomb.

Well after watching Saratoga 9th race, and seeing DAS win the Forego Stakes.... I have a better feeling about Successful Dan in the Woodward Stakes....

Ridiculous, you could hear the Assistant Starters yelling "no, no, no" and they opened the gate, Paynter obviously not ready which changed the entire complexion of the race.

You ever get that feeling that NYRA does not like Baffert ?

Happy they all came through okay, I guess Ron the Greek was alright after his spill walking out....
