She's the likeliest winner in the sequence IMO. Mr. Commons is the other one I'd consider taking a stand with.

I hate Mr. Commons from that post with that field. Hasn't won in 18 months and gets bet every time. I would play against him there and spread.

I wouldn't be afraid to single the Toner horse either.

This is the easiest field he's faced in a long time other than the Kilroe, where he had an impossible trip. Unless the Pletcher import is a superstar or Turallure snaps back to form, he's way the horse to beat. The post is definitely an issue.

I would wait to see how far the rail is out also

as soon as i saw this race, i deemed the pk6 unplayable IMO
On paper he's obviously a standout coming from G1's to OC, the post is an issue, but i can't say i would be surprised if ANYONE won that race. Hell, i like the breen entry in that race

Mott would have looked for a race if he felt Tapitcat wouldn't be prepared and needed one, no? I'd have to use both.

They better have taught her how to rate, because if she tries to go with Midnight Watch, she'll get fried and set the table for KD.

I think the 5th might be the hardest race in the sequence Joe...

I'm only using 1,4,7 in there if I play. I like Lady Halite a lot on her own and will play her to win at anything near 10-1.

I think the 10-1 M/L is too high to begin with and Andy likes her, so that'll bring down the odds for serious. I'm hoping for 6-1.

Jesus, I can't play her at 5-1 in there.

Tough way to start the sequence....... but, her winning would be nice :D

7 was my top choice but that was based on perceived value. Have to look again. Like I said, if you don't believe in the entry, there are a lot of ways to go

I disagree. I can't make a case for betting anyone else except the 4 and 7 and I have the 7 as the 2nd likeliest winner, so 6-1 would be value for me.

If I play, I'll play a small ticket, otherwise I'll just go after the Pick 3 & 4's.

Rettalfa never gets out of the gate, but you could at least make a case for her if the pace gets hot; Diamond Maker has had a million chances and was a no-excuse loser at 7-5 against a weaker field last out. I could never bet her.

I hear you, but Toga is a new surface and Gullo is one of those guys that wins with prices up there. Beat Sun King a few years ago when SK showed up with wraps....off the board as huge fave.

I'll take my chances with Watsdachances as a single on a small ticket. maybe it will carry a third time.

In the finale, as long as #13 Harrier Hill doesn't draw in, #3 Show Some Lovin has a huge shot to control the race early with a clean break. I look for him to prove tough on the front end. Possibly singleton.

I like him as well for the reasons you mentioned. Also, pretty much all the horses around him in his race 2-back ran abberantly low figs in that race, which I'll detail in my post tomorrow. Last is excusable b/c of the wet turf.

Man he should drown these guys. Way too classy to lose here.
