Recently I asked for your help for my son-in-law who had an opportunity to win a new van from mobility awareness. Steve is paralyzed from a high school football injury and the new van would help him greatly. You responded as I hoped you would and many of you voted daily for Steve. The winners were announced today and Steve will soon be travelling in a new van. I can't thank you enough for your support and well wishes. Steve Byk, thank you for allowing me to solicit your audience. I'll have to get my son-in-law Steve to drive me to Arlington this summer and I'll let you know when it happens so we can personally thank some of the locals. Thank you again. This community is the VERY BEST!

I wanted to let everyone know what's up with the van. I spoke with Steve and my daughter. This prize is very much a custom vehicle. I guess there is a huge list of optional equipment to outfit the vehicle to the exact needs of the driver. They will be speaking with Steve and his doctors to give him a vehicle that he will be able to use safely. Delivery is now anticipated late July or early August. We will still have time for the public reception in the Arlington parking lot. I'll give you updates as I receive them. Thanks again to everyone.
