Did they just determine that the last was a bad day?

RockHardTen1985 04-21-2013 05:34 PM

I might be POint Of Entry's biggest fan, but if ridden properly Silver Max could be dangerous. Not sure you will see Albarado up again unless he was told to bury him in behind horses. I know the pace was super fast last time, but I think at the least he needs to be in the clear.

Alabama Stakes 04-21-2013 06:20 PM

Point of Entry is a passer of hosses. Count how many passed out of how many faced..A fitting horse to be named after top 5 Metal albums evah

That's what horses who come from off the pace do...they pass horses.

A passer of horses? Of course he is. He's my favorite horse in training. I have liked him since he broke his maiden by 20 in an off the turf race. At 3-5 ill look for some value in a backup kinda way.

Ya, that's the point. You obviously have a thing for AL Stakes :{>:

I love horses and this game, and I know my posts are "off based" at times. I really enjoy most on this board and think this is a great place to converse about horse racing. I will from this point forward only post relevant info or questions in respect to all that contribute to this great forum.

like posting about the New York juicers again and again ? you're doing noble work, but it's not exactly must read stuff though. Keep trying.

Good stuff Steve. Was saying over the weekend that I wish I had some work to get started on early, because the two days will end up with 300 runners

RockHardTen1985 04-22-2013 04:59 PM

How about the 2 day pick 3 linking the Oaks-Woodford-Derby? Is that coming back? Great wager.

i don't "know" the answer but i'm a typer of keyboards and that doesn't require me to know anything.

since permission was granted for the wager last year i'd expect there to be news if it wasn't being offered again. everything i google comes back to 2012 articles about it being offered for the first time. given no news, i would assume nothing has changed.

it's almost time for me to become a driver of car and watcher of tv later tonight. in the meantime, i'm a sayer of goodbye so i can be an attender of late meeting right now.

I love posts that begin with an insult and end with disingenuous nonsense.

Wise Dan now considering Woodford.

I do apologize for any insulting posts. I'd rather not get into forum banter.

So, good old High Limit is back posting on this board?

I want to start by saying that I'm a huge fan of Wise Dan...

However, I hope he is entered so the price on POE (and others) is improved.

Wise Dan is amazing but: 20 days rest, No Johnny V and 1 1/8 on the turf

All of those things seem to make this the one time you take a stand against him.

Not him, but certainly a retread.

Any updates on undercard?

Appears Wise Dan is running unless something changes between now and then.

By the looks of the 9th race at CD Wednesday, which came up like a G2, Wise Dan will be running in the Woodford Reserve.

Wise Dan to be ridden by Jose Lezcano in Woodford, says C LoPresti. Johnny V stays on Point of Entry.

I could be wrong, but I think this was an easy choice for JV.

I'm just happy I haven't seen Little Mike's name anywhere on this thread. He killed me last year on most of the big days.

LoPresti said on Steve's show last week that JV had already committed to riding POE when they considered entering Wise Dan in the Woodford. JV did not actually have to make a choice, they knew if they entered Wise Dan they would have to pick up a rider for the race.
