I was going to take the day off and didn't do any real work for today last night.

Too cold outside to do anything, too bored to not play.

Action bet: Race #2 at Woodbine -- I'm betting the #4 (3/1 with 8 MTP) -- there is a lot of speed in the race and he should have every chance to run them all down.

He won clear with a last to first victory. Got pounded way down to 8/5 at the end, though.

The only other closer in the race plugged home a clear 2nd at 24/1 odds and passed all the stoppers. Wish I had played an exacta. Ah well.

It looks like we have another pace meltdown oppertunity at Calder in the 6th race.

None of the two closers here look as strong as the winner at Woodbine earlier in the day...but both should be fat prices.
