This horse was a European dirt specialist. He was 4-for-4 lifetime on dirt in Europe, winning at odds of 10/1, 8/1, and twice at 5/1. Twice he won under 140lbs and in his final European dirt start he won by 8 lengths while giving the second place finisher 33 pounds in weight. He won his American debut in the Californian Stakes at 7/1 odds before soon falling off of form. He was later claimed for $100,000 and quickly rounded back to form and eventually won back-to-back Grade 1's before falling off of form again. ![]() Name him. |
