Horse or horses? How many horses per race and why or why not?

Can we pick, say... all of them?

Pick as many as you like! Cheating is encouraged in all ClydeVivor contests.:D

FInal question for now... can we pick horses who aren't actually entered?

No wait that might get confusing.

Nevah mind. :p

You may pick horses who wanted to enter but couldn't due to injury or illness. The only requirement is they must be 3 year olds and TB's (not that our contest committee is racist toward quarterhorses, trotters, or any other breed :o).

What if we're in our time machine while picking horses?

Then all your picks must be 3 year olds in the same year (Sunday Silence/Easy Goer or Unbridled/Summer Squall but not Easy Goer/Unbridled). Hope this clears things up.:D

You read my mind! :D

I have a question...

Are we allowed to choose horses who aren't geldings?

This is something that wasn't exactly spelled out in the rules and I know you're busy and all Deb O Deb but if you're gonna run a contest you kinda need to address this one.

Was also curious if the horses we choose can be imaginary or not.

Personally I would rather choose real live horsies but I just need to be clear cause will have to start thinking of names now if they are alive only in my mind.

You may choose horses who aren't geldings and also those who never had those 2 important appendages (also known as fillies). You may also choose imaginary horses if AND ONLY IF they have existed in your mind for some time and can be verified by a therapist not named Morty.

Due to popular demand, (ok, just Clyde demanded), I'm adding the W Virginia Derby 8/4 to the contest thus making it the ClydeVivor Triple. Clyde's most favorite horsey, Hansen, will be running in the WV Derby unless they change their minds again.:zz:

A handicapping guide by Clyde:

===============================================

Hello SportyFans.

This is Clyde Ten Pied McBride .........typing.

I know how thrilled you all are to finally have a rare opportunity to read me.It's almost as exciting for me to be here-----almost.

I'm going to provide you with in depth analysis of todays 5 star race.Should be a real jim dandy.Forget the name of it, but it's that $600,000 deal at Sara's today.I have chosen not to go off the main today so as not to endanger the board life of my conduit here............................boy ,is that not only is a bad use of the term but a real woody generator as well.

I am talking about what'shername, of course. Forgot it ,too.Just look at the name of who posted this for me....that's her.I'll bet she has a really, really fine dupa, but I have no way of knowing

Before I start I would point out that if the timing of this race is right.....Scotis,still running from last year's same race, could well win this thing. So should that happen----well I get credit.

The Indians make me want to vomit. They knock off Detroit who had the funny guy from MAD TV pitching, then get slaughtered the very next night by that awful collection of players called the Twins.Oh well, that's horsey racing.

What am I saying??

That's baseball.

Oh my God.

All right, it's time.

If I could only remember for what.

God this is embarrassing.

Nuts....tell you what, while I try to remember-----I'm throwing out my analysis for the Dim Jandy today.

1....Alfalfa

Shouldn't a Little Rascal be in the Eddie Haskell?

Yes.

crinkle...

trash can

2....Stay Firsty Falcony

Already a keepah!

3....Atigun

Doesn't that sound like a brand name for a dental adhesive?

Name one dental adhesive who won the Dim Jandy.

....uh,no....

crinkle...

trash can

4....Neck N' Neck

What if he wins by a neck?

You know who he reminds me of? Perk N' Peak.

Remember? The name of the method for stimulating SightyPoo's nipples.

Do you think Neck N' Neck excites SightyPoo's nipples?

Ah don't.

crinkle...

trash can

5....Joe Adonis

Can an LCN head from the 50's hit the boards in this race?

I do think so.

Those guys fix races....and believe me,this race is fixed.

So, keepah.

6....Teeth of the Dog

What the fucl< does that mean!!?

Stupid.

crinkle...

trash can

7....The Hay's On

And the cow jumped over the moon.

Jimmy Cracked corn and I don't care.

Cry me a friggin' rivah.

whiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

8....

Don't laugh....this isn't funny.

He won't score anyways-----whoever he was.

Stay Firsty Falcony for WPS....e-box him with Joe Adonis.

The tri box is 2,5 and Stevie out (all).

If that gets you darted,what'syourname....too bad-----way it goes.

Rileyoriley 07-28-2012 12:24 PM

After reading your race analysis, I'm going with Alpha WPS and box him in exactas, trifectas, biliofectas, etc. with My Adonis and Neck n Neck.

Sightseek 07-28-2012 12:59 PM

I'll take Neck and Neck, he'll be both first and second by a perk and a peak.

Arletta 07-28-2012 02:40 PM

Neck 'n Neck -WPS with Fast Falcon and Teeth of The Wolf for my threesome :)

Rileyoriley 07-28-2012 02:55 PM

My Miss Storm Cat has been kidnapped by Canadian Space Aliens but she managed to text me her picks while being abducted:

Atigun-WPS with
My Adonis and Liaison
wrap them all up in a pretty bow.:D

THE EDDIE HASKELL FINE ANALYSIS

( By the way, nice to see the contest organizer is winning.Way to make the contest look to be on the up and up.)

(Oh----Arletta,perhaps you should walk....ya dog.)

( One more thing....since Hansen's appendages have multiple paranoid schizo syndrome and have shut out Hansen from this race----I am declaring him the official winner. The rest of this is only window dressing.)

1....NONIOS

NO-nios????

Is that some sort of Greek philosopher who didn't know what he was talking about??

At least make him YESIOS....why,then he'd have a chance.

But no.

crinkle...

trash can

Stick to drag strips.

This is an abundantly overrated moo cow.

Nice horse, just don't like 'im.

( Mikey Beer told me to say that.)

crinkle...

trash can
