October 7 at Belmont meeting

Who is going to be there on October 7 for the big day? Oracle wants to meet so badly, I suggest October 7, when I am sure many people from the board will be there. I would meet him Sunday, but I am not going to miss going up to Buffalo just to meet some jerk.

I think you had the same kind of post going a couple of months ago.

I wouldn't wanna miss that either. I've never been to a Bills game but its on my list of things I wanna do. I have a lotta friends who have been and they tell me that the tailgating is even better than the tailgating at the meadowlands and pittsburgh.
Supposedly they start every early in the morning with lots of beer and wings and grill lots of food and its more fun than the game itself.
They are crazy there though, so be careful how you talk lest they string you up by your shoelaces from the goalposts.
I can't make it on the 7th, have a family function. But I will be there on Sunday.
Love to meet anyone here who I don't already know. PM me if you are gonna be around.

Eventually I will meet you because I am living at Saratoga next summer. The Breeders Cup is before than too if you are going.

Not me. We were all going up to Saratoga when our job ended but we all took the money instead of the trip. Our boss went up and paid off our bets and bought the hats for Gander and someone else.

Sure I will try and meet you there.
I don't think you get it though. You wouldn't need protection from me, what you would need is protection from your brother when I told him about what you had been posting on a public forum about people in the business while attributing the quotes to him. Your brother would be horrified, its him you'd need protection from.

Nostradamus,
Thanks for the hat. I didn't get to pick it up yet but I'm sure Steve will hold on to it for me.
I won't be able to make it to Belmont on the 7th...I have a pheasant hunt to guide.
Good luck at the Bills game and at the track.
Thanks for the hat.

No problem. Not my money. I thought it was you but wasn't sure who the other person was. Now I am betting 20WPS on Toss the Feather tomorrow. Hopefully he will get it done. I like him there and think we probably will get 2-1 or better.

ateamstupid 09-20-2006 04:47 PM

I'll be there, but I'll be with my old man and the rastas most of the day.

One of my partners exercise rides her. He works for Jim Jerkens.
He tipped me about her when she was at Toga and that's why I put her out for the board folks. She had a nice work on Sunday. I think she's ready.
Someone said 6 furlongs would be a problem for her, but I don't think so.
Try putting an exacta or tri together. You'll do fine.
Good luck!

It is the best track in the world. Even if you can't get to the barns, you can usually find Shug, Clement, Frankel sometimes, and others near the benches just past the finish line in the morning. Most will talk to you about anything.

I started counting down the days when Saratoga ended.

DiscreetCat=Monster 09-21-2006 12:31 AM

Common Oak Tree, I have been waiting for this meet since del mar ended. I don't really play the fairplex unless like today had that p6 carryover

ateamstupid 09-21-2006 12:46 AM

Steve can stay with the boy, but only him. I have a strict no schmoopie policy.

Son,

I don't know you or your brother.

And it's your money.

But ask yourself, what does betting $20 to show (or place) on a 2-1 shot do for you?

Maybe ask your brother or cousin about this show betting business.

It would make me $17. He ran second. Paid 4.60, 3.00.

Kevin taught me not to bet show on a horse I really liked. :D

blackthroatedwind 09-21-2006 01:18 PM

I just want to know who taught him to subtract 60 from 76 and get 17.

You are right. I added in the $1 I netted on the $15 exacta at Calder. Sounds like a guy who is not having a good day.

Why wouldn't I be having a good day? Every day is a good day.

I was pointing out something, at best, mildly amusing. You're inferiority complex just wouldn't allow you to laugh about it I guess.

I was reading the other thread about speed holding up. It sounded like you were not happy with the way things were going.

Kasept 09-21-2006 05:08 PM

I don't want to see this head back in the direction I just eliminated..

Thank you..
