Congrats in Order for President Obama

Success in Egypt. Free elections, Muslim Brotherhood in power, Israel threatened and the American taxpayer billions lighter in the pocketbook.

Success the Obama way!:tro:

Didn't hear the MB was in power there YET?

Coach Pants 06-18-2012 04:06 PM

Romney would make the same decision as Obama. You're just too enslaved to get it. Good luck.

I'm beginning to think there's very little practical difference between them, much to the displeasure of their respective party "bases."

I haven't heard the congrats from the Romney camp like the cheering heard from the White House. There's a big difference.

Obama's 'idea' of a democracy is far more than 'odd'. It's almost 'sick'

you might not agree with the guy who won the vote-democracy can sometimes be a mess thing. but aren't we supposed to want democracy everywhere???

Depends on your definition of 'we'...guy at another site usta always remind us that we are a republic...my question then was 'why the hell are we shoving democracy down Iraq's throat'...why aren't we shoving republicism ..:zz:

True, we are a republic. But a lazy one so we misname it and it sticks! Thing is, dell and others keep bashing obama, but we originally supported mubarak. We only conceded the argument when our fellows in charge recognized that we were on the wrong side, that he was a goner.

Yeah, mubarak gov't was western backed all his 30 years....yep, Obama's fault..

yep-we didn't want him to lose power because he was friendly to our interests. ironic that we tried to prevent a dictator from losing power; obama only started supporting what had become inevitable when he recognized we were on the losing side.
but those facts can't stand in the way of griping at the pres-it's all his fault that an islamic guy is in charge now.

an interesting piece on obama from the WP. i've wondered about Bahrain many times, how we can support a corrup regime-at it's simplest, we support it because it's best for us. we tried to keep support for mubarek, because he was west-friendly. we chose poorly, so now we have 'unfriendly to the west' people in charge in egypt. i'm sure all the troubles in egypt are far from over.
i really wish we'd quit meddling in bs like that-where does it get us? we need to retreat to worrying about our own little part of the world....george washington warned us about getting involved in euro conflicts, since those folks love nothing so much as war. he'd say the same about the middle east, still trying to sort itself out since those countries are no longer controlled by euro empires.

That fat turd is a globalist puppet leading the sheep to slaughter. Making it seem like they had elections helps remove our responsibility for inciting the coup.

He's a no-good, lying scumbag. His people are literally starving and he's using a religious book that was partly written by what are now known as Masons.

Oh well if they want to die because they're stupid then so be it. Have at it.

i don't need to look those up, i already know what's what. if the majority of egypt wants to have a member of the islamic brotherhood in charge, so be it. i don't live there, and don't really care what they do.

it would be nice if the fed thought the same way. but no, like religion, some use politics as a way to mind other peoples' business.

I think we agree if minding other peoples' business includes coveting those peoples' money.

Fortunately I and a lot of other people do care about what 'they' do especially when it concerns the safety of some of our closest allies. The fact women are treated as dogs also makes me care what 'they do'. With our President crying poor while sending them billions makes me care what 'they do'.

The fact the Muslim Brotherhood announced they would not put up a candidate yet lied was expected by me all along. The people (and posters here) who took them at their word and expounded on it affirmed my initial judgment of them as foolish idiots, President Obama included.

obviously we'd spend less money if we didn't try to get involved in every pissing contest that comes down the pike.

Spending billions of taxpayer money to create a muslim based theocracy. Guess at least it makes Solyndra look like a bonanza.

Wish the President would explain to seniors, who he warned wouldn't get the checks they're owed unless congress gave him more credit, how the new Egypt and the billions spent on them is more important than their checks.

Turns out the path of supporting and aiding the Arab Spring was not only a colossal waste of taxpayer money, in the case of Egypt, it was dangerous.

While the Muslim Brotherhood lied through their teeth stating they would not seek political office, they are now in charge following Egypt’s very first election. A massive cultural regression has been facilitated where millions of women are now confined to their homes unless escorted by a male family member; so much for ladies’ night out. In Pakistan, despite the billions in U.S. aid today they burn American flags on a government granted holiday. In ‘progressive’ Saudi Arabia women are beaten by strangers for driving. How morally corrupt must one be to not only engage in but allow and promote the beating of your wives, mother and daughters by strangers?

The put your finger in your ears singing la la la while opening your wallet foreign policy of this administration hopefully will not come back to haunt us. Hopefully Iran, unlike the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, is not lying when they state they are not pursuing nuclear weapons. Hopefully Iran’s stated intention of annihilating Israel is tongue in cheek. Just hope Obama’s speech praising the great muslim advances and inventions was as well.

Instead of inflating medieval muslim theocracies we need to be empowering muslim women. It’s likely the only way to take the radical out of radical islam. And I would think everyone would concede the world would be a much better place without radical islam except you know who and maybe Danzig who stated she didn't care what happened there.

BREAKING: Dell still hates Muslims.

Completely ignores pro-Democracy Muslim Libyans who took over, burned, attacked, freed hostages from militant militia that killed Ambassador Stephens yesterday (yeah, their details of how democracy works are rough, but they are on the right side of justice -aside from trying to save Ambassador Stephens life, they did save 30 from the consulate).

Completely ignores all peaceful Muslims, the vast majority in the world.

Dell worries about the Muslim Brotherhood in foreign countries. Here in the United States, we can worry about the Christian Brotherhood taking over our government, and the things they want to do to our American women, and the liberties they want to steal from our women.

Considering they have plenty of arms themselves, the American Christian Taliban can be a worry to some.

dellinger63 12-05-2012 04:35 PM

More proof of a job well done per that left wing biased NBC.

No worries, in the words of dearly departed Riot, "they'll all be OK" as none are being killed yet. :wf
