If that's true, I guess O'Neill forget to bring his "What happens in this barn, stays in this barn!" posted signs with him.

Clip-Clop 06-08-2012 10:40 AM

He didn't even have a proper work, right?
How did manage to injure himself??

slotdirt 06-08-2012 10:40 AM

It's apparently official - wow!

tmpg2000 06-08-2012 10:41 AM

I'll have another scratched

I’ll Have Another, winner of Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, out of Belmont Stakes due to leg injury, trainer says

Indian Charlie 06-08-2012 10:42 AM

From BH earlier:

I’ll Have Another jogged a half-mile and then galloped an “easy” mile, all in company with Lava Man, in his last appearance on the track before Saturday’s race, in which he will be seeking to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

“He is fit and ready to go and we are just trying to let him bring as much energy to the table tomorrow as possible,” O’Neill said. “We thought giving him an easy day the day before would be a good move. He stayed with coach Lava Man just to keep everything off-speed. I was very pleased with it. Perfect. We are ready to roll.”

slotdirt 06-08-2012 10:42 AM

This is more insane than I want Revenge.

WTF did the dentention barn have to do with it?

South Beach Luv 06-08-2012 10:43 AM

I wonder how many people will show up tomorrow not knowing he's scratched.

SilverRP 06-08-2012 10:44 AM

2 races since september of last year before the 3 Triple Crown races................. I stand by what I've been saying for years now. There will never be a Triple Crown winner till these trainers start training their horses for it.

Other than Twitter, are there any real sources? Twitter accounts have been known to get hacked pretty frequently.

jms62 06-08-2012 10:45 AM

I'm actually feeling sick to my stomach.

Danzig 06-08-2012 10:45 AM

Did anyone actually hear the news broken on the Dan Patrick show? Does anyone even listen to the Dan Patrick show?

I want to believe this is a hoax. I'm guessing it isn't.

Another brilliant post. You think the detention barn caused him to hurt a tendon?

This ranks with the dumbest posts I have seen on this forum to date and that is not an easy accomplishment.

Agree.
Shitty. I was against him tomorrow, but if he would have won.... It would have been OK. Really crappy.
Still a really good card, and for the people who thought he could not get beat its a better betting race. I almost feel like I can go back to hating Union Rags.
