The 5 should be DQ'd. I don't care how much horse Leparoux had, he has no right to force a hole to get out of the jam he put himself into.

Plus he drifts out about 9 paths in the lane.

That is BS in my opinion and rewards Leparoux for a dangerous move to get himself out of that jam. He should have come down. The drift out did not seem to have an impact on the finish, the 7 was probably done, but certainly after that BS contact.

CHD 7th. The 4 has to be the play on the washoff with that pedigree. Going to be forward and they need to beat him. Nice square price.

It is a good thing that the 9 was much the best. Even with a lone speed horse on paper Leparoux can't bring himself to take the horse on the lead. He is such a one demensional jockey that I am amazed he gets the type of mounts that he does.
