Opening Day Belmont

Friday April 27th is opening day at beautiful Belmont park. I'm thinking about playing hookey for the day. Anyone else plan on making the journey?

You two should wear matching outfits.

I'd suggest matching GOAT tee shirts and Giant's Causeway baseball caps

I'm supposed to take fashion tips from one guy who wears fluorescent green shirts and the other who wears women's blouses? :zz:

MaTH716 04-18-2012 10:56 AM

Exhibit A- Woman's blouse

Exhibit B- Faded (even better) fluorescent green shirts

Instead of the same outfits, you two could rock the Dumb and Dumber look. It seemed to be popular at the last Derby I attended. I think orange would be more RHT's color, but you decide.

It's looks too much like a white suit. And from what I remember, the last guy who wore a white suit around here was ridiculed quite a bit. I can't quite remember the chaps name, but I think there are a few pictures floating around............................................ ...........

You need to make that pic of me your avy again. I was on FIRE when you used it before.

If I am David Wells, you are Eddie Gaedel.

Now you tell me. I can make you my avy again. For a nominal fee, of course.:D

That's some damning evidence . . . .

I may be able to get over there depending on whether I can clear some things out of the way. I will try to drag pmac down there with me, the poor chump has been so busy working I have hardly heard from him. There is a good chance whatever he is wearing could be an Exhibit C.

The competition. You're going to have to beat this guy to get your winners.

Exacta Bob needs to have a talk with that guy.

If there's a good amount of DT'ers out there, I will most likely swing by to have a few. Though the depth of the Tampa degenerates' inside jokes is daunting.

There's a race in the book opening day for My Pal of Pals...if Gary cuts him back, that might entice a few more DTers out of the woodwork.

More importantly, how are the bathrooms? ;)

What's with this a-hole Jerry Bossert tweeting pictures of the empty areas at Belmont? Why does he even cover racing if he wants to put it down so much?

Exacta Bob would have died of hypothermia today. It was no joke, I felt like we should have been at Aqueduct.

Guilty as charged, I still can't figure out why Joe's Crab Shack is a bad place for someone who likes Crab?

Right, coming from the guy who orders French Fries as an appetizer.

#1. It's a southern thing.

#2. You are acting like it was just a basket of fries. They were Jalapeno Cheese fries. Big difference.
