Forget about Hansen

Juvy winners are 1 -27 repeating in the derby. Hansen will be another who bites the dust. He is Uncle Mo light. Merely a horse who as a two year old was in the right place at the right time. As most Juvy winners were.
It's like the kid who was a head taller than you in 4th grade and the next year you are looking down at him. This was what MO was.
Hansen is the same. If they don't realize after the Holy Bull that this horse should be taken off the derby trail, they will ruin the horse. If they are smart they will go to plan B. In that scenario he can potentially be an excellent miler.

Ah.

Clearly this post exposes you as someone who thinks they know more than they really do.

I was really kinda hoping you had some magic leap back in time machine that would explain your greatness.

Ah well.

I can always tell the really good handicappers from the average ones cause they're the ones who tell you which horse won't win.

Hansen won't win the Derby?

Quite a limb there Sir.

Quantum Disciple 02-01-2012 12:03 PM

For what it's worth I said this right after the Juvy and again before the Holy Bull. Some listened, some allowed me to get a juicy overlay there (stumble my arse) Which group would you have been in?

my miss storm cat 02-01-2012 12:11 PM

I had Hansen in the 3rd spot... thought Consortium would nail it. :wf

You will get everything you need for free right here. Be patient. One of the reasons I have hesitated joining a forum is that it tends to get in the way of my game. It basicly breaks the cornerstone of what Quantums is all about. That is "talk". Talk affects a handicapper. Once a handicapper opens his mouth to others, it WILL have an effect on how he thinks and what he does.
However after 40 years I am at a place where I will bring to the table what need be for those less knowledgable which is most everyone. Stay tuned. I will be back tomorrow. Family obligations call.

Arletta 02-01-2012 12:17 PM

Anything to the fact that he had a dream trip, that had him running 64 feet less than Union Rags, but only managed to beat him by a head that day?

I Forgot about Hansen that afternoon.

C'mon Man - use them cyphers to come up with sumthin' good.

Why did I have to check this as I was walking out the door? Oh alright, you all want the derby winner? You do realize this is a gift and it breaks Quantum Protocal?

Discreet Dancer

You're welcome

Any Questions?

so noted.

but hey, at least you didn't break protocol.

MaTH716 02-01-2012 01:12 PM

Excuse me Mr Quantum, but would it be wrong for me to ask which Derby this horse is winning? The last time I checked there was a Kentucky, Florida, Illinois, Arkansas, Santa Anita, Pennsylvania, Louisiana etc...... A little more clarity would be appreciated.

Thank you

Alpha. I will take a stand right now and predict Alpha and possibly one other three year old will win. All the others will be on the short end of the stick.

Rudeboyelvis 02-01-2012 02:43 PM

Algorithms went from 150-1 Sunday Morning to 8-1 after the Holy Bull @ Wynn in the derby futures.

Jus sayin'

I think at this stage of the game anyone not betting Discreet Dancer after the Quantums have spoken have only themselves to blame.

blackthroatedwind 02-01-2012 03:39 PM

You can get all the 12:1 on Algorithms you need from me.

He feels over 50:1.

He truly is the suckah horse of this year for the Derby trail.

I don't think he's impossible, but I don't see him doing it.

Sightseek 02-01-2012 09:23 PM

He'll win the preps at Turfway and/or the Bluegrass Stakes.

Who is He'll?

Merlinsky 02-02-2012 01:06 AM

What are the odds of a Bernardini winning the Derby this year? It feels like 2 out of every 3 on the trail are by him.

jms62 02-02-2012 06:05 AM

Cant be Travelin Vic otherwise we would get a list of 100 horses to win derby

Casual Trick was, even though his allowance race Sunday was dreadful. Consortium as well. Both have to rebound obviously.

Casual Trick is a slug. A poor horses Dialed In. I thought his race prior to Saturday told us all that. He had the entire stretch to win that race and had no excuse. Im not buying the slop as an excuse for him to run that bad. It was 2 bad. I like the horse who ran second to El Padrino moving forward. Did Calvin have to move that early? Not saying he wins, but its closer. He should move way forward next time out.

RockHardTen1985 02-02-2012 11:49 AM

For what its worth Im a big fan of QD. My kinda guy.
