Another debate tonight CNN 8pm

Yes, another debate in Florida tonight, the last before Florida voting. This time hosted by CNN. 8pm.

The Republican choice for President of the United States is Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney. This is what that formerly Grand Old Party has come to :(

bigrun 01-26-2012 03:13 PM

My choice of the field....Obama's best shot...

Debate end

Newt: he's done. Got his narcissistic azz handed to him. We'll have to see if his billionaire gives him another $5 million after he loses Florida to Mittens. Tried his southern strategy dog whistles of food stamps and Saul Alinsky, but the audience was filled with Mittens supporters and he couldn't get traction. No applause for Newt tonight. Tried to attack Wolf, but Wolf didn't back down. Newt can't handle it when who he attacks stands up to him.

Santorum: crazy, but had a good debate

Paul: when I was a child, everyone had health care, until Medicare for uninsured elderly ruined it.

Mittens: Has a new debate coach, doing better. Punched out Newt a few times.

Coach Pants 01-27-2012 06:59 AM

Oh how novel. Like Obie Trice's supporters aren't the same type of sheep.

*insert dumb b.itch meme img*

dellinger63 01-27-2012 08:28 AM

Funny how Mitt and Newt argue about who made more money off Fannie/Freddie all the while Obama's given Fannie and Freddie HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars that are now a part of the rising debt.

I suppose if you're not a taxpayer he behooves you to be a sheep.

And Bush had nothing at all to do with getting that ball rolling, right?

Of course he did but I don't think he's eligble to run again.

Well why blame Obama when the momentum was such that it couldn't be stopped?

Why don't you do some research and tell us how much Bush gave F&F during his 8 years compared to Obama's three.

dellinger63 01-27-2012 09:09 AM

The fact Newt has a five year plan to get us out of our involvement w/F&F is 5 years too long

LOL... :zz:You are kidding fuking kidding right? You have the balls to post this nonsense? Gee Del how much money did F&F need during the Housing Bubble which basically was the 8 years Bush was in Office?? So Obama is getting blamed for the bailout that was crafted in the waning moments of Bush's turn in office simply becuase he was in office when it was executed

If my memory serves me correct Barry did vote for the first bailout(G.W's)..just sayin

Danzig 01-27-2012 10:41 AM

entirely too much blame placed on the president for fannie/freddie. congress has as much, if not more, blame to be placed on themselves. now, presidents deserve harsh criticisms when they sign back crap into law-but we all know where the garbage comes from too. what caused the housing and banking bubbles to burst?

Coach Pants 01-27-2012 10:46 AM

Dodd. Frank. Google. Derp.

263 others voted Yay. Bush painted a picture that it was the end of the world if the bill didn't pass. My point in my sparing with Dell is he is trying to paint F&F bailout as Obamas issue when in fact it was Bush's issue. he comes up with a beyond absurd comparison of money given to F&F by each that should insult the intellegence of anyone short of Nascar1966.

Pres A = Kick, Pres B = Sandwich. If you tak to get one everyday, the other might look appealing in hindsight ie Clinton.

dellinger63 01-27-2012 12:04 PM

Who lowered the lending standards at F&F, to ignore traditional lending practices? Hint: It was a President

Coach Pants 01-27-2012 12:14 PM

Who does #2 work for?

Riot 01-27-2012 02:56 PM
