What is it with some of these grossly hypocritical "family values" Republican candidates? I care less about Herman being a liar, cheater and adulterer (consenting adults and all that), than I do about allegations of his repeated sexual harassments. But Gingrich is a serial lying, cheating adulterer, too, and also did it with underlings. Called his first wife, "not young enough or pretty enough to be a President's wife".

Do they all hate women? Are they all blatantly disgusting narcissists? What a bunch of losers.

Lying about paying off two former employees $80,000 to shush them about your sexual harrassment is okay in GOP land, but lying about two consenting adults having an extra-marital affair makes your Presidential aspirations go bye-bye. Unless you are a serial adulterer like Newt Gingrich.

Cain will do what the Koch brothers tell him to do, I imagine. They own him and are funding him.

People cheat on their signifigant others everyday and it has nothing to do with their job. For me I dont give a crap what people do in their bedrooms as long as it is legal and as I understand it cheating isnt illegal.
Herman is dead as a candidate because the media and the self appointed gaurdians of our morality deem it so. Herman should have thought about all his skeletons in the closet before he got on his soap box when it comes to morality. In my opinon he is too stupid to be president on this fact alone.

As a side note.....he should of had the handlers that the POTUS has because as far as anyone knows he has never even played with his oscar meyer let alone dated anyone but his wife.

As a radical leftist who doesn't particularly like either party, I agree. Both parties have more than their share of scumbags, it's just more obvious when some cat who preaches "moral values" turns out to be so! Clinton was impeached for lying under oath. not for banging Lewinski with a cigar. I agree with that it is hypocritical and frankly disgusting for anyone in Washington, especially Newt, to play the higher moral character card. Newt should shut up about all things sex related.

As I said, nobody cares who Newt is having an affair with. The point is that Newt is the consummate hypocrite, trying to have Clinton impeached while doing the exact same with a staffer at the same time. Newt is the classical definition of a money whore politician. He was kicked out of his own party for ethics violations. Newt lies repeatedly and effortlessly. His bullshit about "I'm not a lobbyist" is ridiculous. He's delusional. He believes what he says.

I don't know why Newt gets so much credit for being "smart", having either intelligence or policy knowledge. I guess compared to the idiots he's running against? Good grief, the guy has been around politics for decades, we know what he's said and how he thinks. His "policies" are public knowledge. He's never been called "smart", except in his own rewriting of his past political history and performances. He's a legend in his own mind. But the rest of us lived through him in his first incarnation. We know what he is.
