Jockey. A rider in California can be no more than 7 lbs over the program listed weight. Since I'd be +206 it's safe to say that's one I'll miss out on.

You would be like 5 bills if you lived in the south. No excuse to be that fat in California, Vic.

The Indomitable DrugS 03-29-2011 03:09 PM

If I lived near a Sonny's Bar B-Q ... I'd probably weigh twice what I do now.

I hope your beloved wife and step daughter can manage with you working a second job? Vic, will the family dynamic be ok? Shirley, you have considered the stress to your family?

Congrats and do the right thing

How can the former agent of Joel Rosario give the impression of impartiality? If Joel is DQ'd it is because Vic holds a grudge? If he doesn't is it becuase Vic doesn't want to give the impression that he holds a grudge? Over/Under is 6 months in this latest new job.

As long as his horse stays straight and strong, they have nothing to worry about.

How?

People can be professional, you know. Some working relationships last forever; others don't. In fact, most don't.

It's business, not personal.

I'll take the over.

Impression... Impression... Impression... And your over would've been wrong on the last 2 jobs but I hope you are right this time.

I have to say, Vic gets a lot of time in DRF for a track announcer. Major hard on for him, they have apparently.

I like Vic as a track announcer. Paints a nice picture of where everyone is in the race.

How many races in the next decade do you suppose Rosario is going to ride in the norcal fair circuit?

The chances of Rosario riding at Ferndale or Fresno is somewhere between slim and not going to happen. Could be an issue if he became a steward in SoCal, but for now it's not.

randallscott35 03-30-2011 10:52 AM

What does a steward make for pay?

Hmm... I overlooked the details in my haste to get a nice barb in.
