Zenyatta no longer in foal...

I presume there is still time to give it another try in 2011?

They should breed her on synthetic this time.

I can't stop reading these absurd blog responses. . . someone please take away my computer. The best ones are those that merge in ridiculous religious elements.

Yes, there is time when she comes into season. We haven't even bred one of our mares yet. The other just got bred two days ago.

Total opposite of a sausage fest!

Maybe Stone Gossard can convince them that he saw Zenyatta walk into planned parenthood and get an abortion.

DaTruth 03-29-2011 01:49 PM

The best posts are the ones denying it happened. Smooth Operator's 2011 is now totally ruined.

Coach Pants 03-29-2011 02:10 PM

Things are going downhill.

Antitrust32 03-29-2011 02:12 PM

I was reading some of the Zenyatta blog responses to my co worker, who couldnt stop laughing. She said maybe Zenyatta should try therapy.

Revidere 03-29-2011 02:21 PM

If it does not take, can they get her ready for a 4th consecutive Clement Hirsch?

randallscott35 03-29-2011 02:28 PM

Zenyatta, the 2010 Horse of the Year, is no longer in foal and will be bred to Benardini again next week, according to Mike Cline, the manager of Lane’s End Farm, where the 7-year-old mare in boarded.

“She came up empty on a 35-day preg check today,” Cline said. “It’s not uncommon. It’s unfortunate, but she’s healthy, she’s doing great, and we expect her to get back in foal.”

Zenny: I am so sorry to hear that you lost your foal. Can you be bred again or does that not happen for a good reason unbeknownst to us? Well, just relax and enjoy yourself. I hear it’s lovely in the spring and summer out where you are in Bluegrass country.

I love you, Zenny. Maybe we can come and visit you this summer now that you are not in foal.

..followed by this...
OMG ….YOU PEOPLE ARE ‘INSANE’ !!!!! You do know your talking to a horse , as if she’s scrolling through her ipad reading your heartfelt comments …..LMAO ….YOUR ALL NUTS !

GenuineRisk 03-29-2011 02:45 PM

The worst are the women who compare it to their own miscarriages. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

YOUR ALL NUTS!!

had to be rock hard ten.. that is his spelling.

The funniest one I saw was some lady telling Zenyatta to go on a vacation to forget about it with some of her girl horse friends. and when she gets back it will be much easier to get pregnant.

If it was up to some of the posters from that diary, I'm sure they would hope Bernardini would buy her dinner first, and get him to agree to a long-term relationship before he covers her for a second time.

How is that possible, since he's the one getting paid for sex?

FGFan 03-29-2011 03:05 PM

Ya gotta love the internet...but OMG!!!!

Zenny—————-no worries. I had my daughter late in life and my inners were so rusty she came out with red hair.
All things are meant to be.
xxoo you gal pal,

Is there a chance she could be bred again this year? Or will they have to wait for next year? I’ve read about breeding, but now I can’t remember what I learned. Sad to hear, though. Disappointing..

Uncle Mo's hitting on her, Gio Ponti is just pissed that she ruined his life and is still in training,
why oh why does Bernadini have nothing to say...I'm upset...;)

LOL...bleed over from political threads!
I understand why folks tend to find this humorous but people have always given animals human qualities (how many folks here talk to their dog or cat?). While it may sound silly I think in the long run it's good for racing, these folks fell in love with Zenyatta and this brought them into the fold of racing fans and we all know racing needs as many fans as possible, even those who aren't rabid handicappers.

FGFan 03-29-2011 03:17 PM

Maybe horses shouldn't be allowed to post on facebook, now Uncle Mo sort of sounds like a pedophile.....
