5 most include jimmy da jerk and alan g

common people

Fulla Sheets 02-17-2011 07:29 PM

I'm leaning towards the 4- Heavy Favorite (her name, not betting odds). In her last race she got bumped after the break, putting her at the back of the pack. In her race 2 back, she broke on top and got the lead. Maybe with a cleaner break she could sit a good trip right behind the lead.

declansharbor 02-17-2011 07:51 PM

I'll be around after the wife dozes off near the end of Jersey Shore.

Not to include my horses, of course, but to know which horses to avoid like the plague. I'm running as bad as I ever have.

hoovesupsideyourhead 02-17-2011 07:52 PM

not true its a clean slate

hoovesupsideyourhead 02-17-2011 07:53 PM

declansharbor 02-17-2011 07:54 PM

The 9th is looking like a toughie.

To me the pick 5 is borderline unplayable because the 1st leg is so tough and the others are pretty tough as well.

If I was playing, I'd use the 1,3,9. Lady Chesterfield can improve off her latest and might end up sitting a nice trip with an aggressive ride. Omi's Vindication might be the speed of the speed and has an excuse for her lone turf effort when she was went wide as they approached the turn. If she breaks she could be long gone. Precious Lady has had a lot of chances, but she ran well enough last time and might be sitting on a better effort 3rd off the layoff.

Deputy Major has some pedigree appeal. But Jerkens is 0 for 10 with firsters sprinting on the grass. Arboria has some appeal because of the connections. But Sheppard is just 2 for 24 with firsters sprinting on the grass, 1 for 14 in grass sprints at Gulfstream and 6 for 123 with his grass starters at Gulfstream the last 5 years. Not real inspiring.

knickslions2 02-17-2011 08:29 PM

awful tough start to this

4 looks like could be there if breaks cleaner. I do think the 1 has a shot. I would probably include the 5,6 and 8 just to be complete. I really don't like the 9.

hoovesupsideyourhead 02-17-2011 08:44 PM

the 9 went sub 21 first split

GPK 02-17-2011 08:46 PM

Guess it's read and analyze for me. thanks all for opinions!

Race 6 has been covered.

Race 7, 1 War Clan ran pretty big 2 back at Belmont, then ran inexplicably poorly next out. With freshening, I'm thinking she gets back to a good one. The Casse Woodbine stakes Lemon Drop Kid is obviously dangerous.

Race 8, Wide open, like 4,5,6,7,8 the most (I know, way to narrow it down:rolleyes:)

Race 9: Three "Trip" horses from their last starts, 9 Wet One, 5 Kathern's Kitten, and 10 Up In Lights, who goes from J Bridgmohan to Leparoux (lately, might not be a good switch).

Race 10, 2,3,4 and 8 (the 2 is cross entered tomorrow, may scratch).
