GB -3 Vs. Pitt

Discuss

randallscott35 01-23-2011 09:08 PM

GB did everything in their power to keep Chi close. Pitt is far better than Chi but it won't matter at the end. Pack by 2 scores.

dalakhani 01-23-2011 09:19 PM

I think the Packers win and cover. Too many receivers for the steelers to cover. They outplayed Pitt last year at Heinz field and Pitt was lucky to win.

Cannon Shell 01-23-2011 09:54 PM

I very rarely have a strong NFL opinion but I think GB is wildly overrated.

You would think that all season long it seemed that the AFC was the much better conference and now you have the #2 seed from there being a 3 point dog to a team that needed to win it's last 2 games just to get into the playoffs. Seems a little strange.

I guess they figure that GB is better suited to an inside game on a fast field. But I wasn't really impressed with them today.

We will see in 2 weeks. You believe the AFC is superior to the NFC. I just don't buy that they are that much better. Chicago's defense was very good. Yesterday wasn't the pack best game. The jets made it a game in the 2nd half with Sanchise. Rodgers can't tear up that secondary. 5 straight elimination games for the pack and they got it done on the road and at home. Are the dolphins coming to dallas for the experience they will never get?

Well they dont have the experience of getting to the SB every 14 years but they do have the experience of beating the Pack earlier this year.

Cannon Shell 01-24-2011 08:30 AM

Maybe Bob and Wiphan can go halves on this SB suite

Packers have edge! If pouncey can't play the steelers lose their center and that line has been beaten up all year. Pack played the bears for the 3rd time and the bears have played the pack good all 3 times. The key was the quarterback play of cutler! He takes himself out in the big game! That hanie kid looked good! I think the best play might be the under! Both teams have great d's. Pack 20-17!

slotdirt 01-24-2011 09:36 AM

Not a Steelers fan here, but Rapelisberger is 10-2 in the playoffs in his career. I don't care what the matchups are, there's no chance the Packers win by two scores.

It actually opened as Steelers -1, but the money all came in on Gb and they had to keep moving the line.

That is simply not correct. If one casino opened it at that I wouldn't be shocked but the big wigs offshore, aka BetCris and Las Vegas consultants were pretty clear on GB favored at 2.5 pushing 3.

Whatever quote you find won't work. The major open, used by LVSC was what it was.

I know what you are talking about..understand how lines are established. Read 5 papers today and a million article on line..I'll find it.

Charles Woodson said it best while addressing the team after the game. If the president doesn't want to go to the superbowl I guess we will have to go visit him in the whitehouse

Green Bay opened as a 1-point underdog Sunday against Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl, but Packers backers quickly bet their team to 2 1/2-point favorites at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.

"They just kept betting Green Bay and we had to keep moving the line,'' said John Avello, director of sports and race operations at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas. "I'm just trying to find the right number.''

Avello should stick to his racebook.

I eagerly await a glorious Super Bowl victory by quarterback Jeff Spicoli and the Green Bay Packers.

Morally speaking - the Packers are Jesus and the Steelers are Satan.

Pittsburgh Steeler fans are the most vile and revolting collection of fans ever assembled since the days of these people ...

And much like Zenyatta fans ... you can't escape these in-bred black and gold wearing white trash. I go to the Tampa/St. Pete area - and what do you think I find right next to my nearest Subway sandwhich shop? A so-called "Steelers bar" - littered with Steeler jersey wearing mo-fo's every Sunday. Go to a sports book in Vegas .. that's on the West Coast in case anyone forgets .. you'll see a sea of obnoxious ass Steeler fans.

The Steelers quarterback? Is there a bigger piece of sh!t in NFL history? Ben drinks, Ben sees, Ben rapes ... he thinks he's entitled to the pu$$y - after all, he's Ben Rothlesraper. Just imagine if he was black? He'd be rotting away in a cell...

Luckily for him - the chicks he's renowned for forcing himself on when drunk are 8's at best with beer goggles - and most probably want it anyway. Normally props to anyone who beats multiple rape accusations - but fucl< him.

Troy is a hairy basterd - Hines is always starting sh!t and is probably the only player I ever wished would get paralyzed. Harrison is a thug who threatens retirement everytime he gets fined... which is bi-weekly.

Packers win 3 straight on the road to get there ... The Stillers win two games at home in front of the most rabid towel waiving inbreds rocking out to Renegade during commerical breaks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X96XH_giZW4 You bitches got outplayed badly in one half of each playoff win even with the bigtime home field edge you have.

Packers: 35
Steelers: 10

Only Big Ben and the ladies knows what happened. He wasn't charged yet he was suspended. Vince Young was charged and he got no punishment. Didnt the Packers get outplayed a little bit in the 2nd half. They also had a nice lead and almost blew it. Both the Ravens and Jets are pretty good teams. The Ravens game didnt suprise. That is one of the best rivalries in the NFL today.Almost forgot to add STEELERS ONLY SIX TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isnt that also completely true about the Steelers game?

Didnt the Jets score the last 19 points in that game?

I never did say anything about the Steelers not being outplayed in the 2ND half. At least they didnt let a 3RD string QB bring thier team back in the game like the Packers let the Bears 3RD string QB bring them back into the game. If you metion one team shouldn't you also mention the other team if the same thing happened to them?
