His name was Natureofthebeast and he was a 6 year old gelding.
His first start had been last October at Ludlow... went to the front and never looked back. He beat a big field. His 2nd start was later in the month and he came from last to win once again. In his 3rd start (back in November) he finished 4th and yesterday was entered at Wincanton. I would think we all deserve more than 7 words to sum it up but this is what they saw fit to write... Disputing lead when fell 5th, fatally injured I'm sorry for his connections. Rest in peace. |

Dermey Bowler, an 8 year old gelding, who was "struck into" at a race at Ffos Las on the 28th but as I'm confused about the date of his passing will list him under this year (I think it might be right).

His name was Conquistador's Cat and he was ten years old.
He died in Race 3 at Charles Town today while running for a 5k tag. Run in peace. |

He had been pulled up in his last race (more than half the field was in this one). This was his 20th start. His owner, trainer and rider all have the same last name (Walford).... Condolences to his family. |

While I would never, ever want to make a mistake of any kind on this thread, there is some discrepancy as to the fate of Snow Way.
