Jesushtapdancingcrist.. She's driving me nuts...

Does anyone have a zippy Chex Mix recipe for me to give to Tina? She's tormenting me... I've never made Chex or Crispex Snack Mix before.

The holiday season hasn't even started yet and I'm ready for domestic violence.

Go to the store and buy the sweet and salty chex mix that comes in the bag, dump it in the bowl, hide the bag and ask for a big kissypoo!

Do you wanna have a Chex off Missy? Sweet and Salty is doubleplus yum good! :p

I think this holiday season it is important to evaluate what you are thankful for:

1) that you have a car to drive to the store
2) that you have the money to buy something at the store
3) that the lovely people at Chex employ people to make the mix for you!

The second or third one down, 355098, looks pretty good, though please use real butter, and try to find a Worcestershire sauce that doesn't have MSG in any of it's hidden forms.

Tina hasn't heard of GOOGLE?!~

Personally, I hate the stuff - too salty.

paisjpq 11-24-2010 08:54 PM

Chex mix is nasty, and people always seems to pick out all the peanuts which means the whole bowl has been pawed through by every person at your gathering...yuck germs.

Danzig 11-24-2010 09:20 PM

go buy a big bag of the 'bold' flavor and be done with it.

Scav 11-24-2010 09:22 PM

I am pretty down with puppy chow though, that stuff is unbelievable after a large meal

Bigsmc 11-25-2010 07:38 AM

Sorry Miguel, but I'm coming up empty. I checked my Scavsenese to English dictionary, but there was no mention of "puppy chow". But, my dictionary is an older model, maybe this is a term that has just been recognized and will be in newer dictionaries from here on in.................:zz:

Princess Doreen 11-25-2010 07:49 AM

PEOPLE PUPPY CHOW

(may not be what Scav is referring to, but it's good pogey bait)

1 C. chunky peanut butter
1 C. mixed nuts
1 stick butter
1 bag chocolate chips
1 box CRISPIX
3 C. powdered sugar

Melt peanut butter, butter, and chocolate chips together in a large pot - stir constantly. Add CRISPIX and mixed nuts and stir gently until coated. Pour into a large paper bag. Add powdered sugar. Close bag tightly and gently shake. Add more sugar if necessary to coat the CRISPIX evenly and keep gently shaking the bag. No need to store because it goes quickly.

I think it could also be the term coined in the midwest for a kind of chunky not so good looking waitress.

That must be a definition made up on the spot. It hasn't made it to any of the urban dictionary sites - probably not disgusting enough.

Female sees target. Female locks on to target. You must help with destroying said target.... Short rest..... Start over...... Repeat 'til one of you dies.

I'm picturing Steve sitting around on the sofa with his XpressBet account open, watching racing, while munching on a big bowl of Chex mix waiting for the turkey to finish cooking. Just a hunch but I give it a 5-2.

I think this is kinda correct but I never taste the peanut butter, its usually just chocolate, I think.

All I know is it is damn good

clyde 11-26-2010 05:16 PM
