Im not sure Bandbox is that good, and last I read he is pointing to the Delta race.

I heard they were going to take the Oaklawn route to Churchill this winter...not sure what race they are pointing to start off his 3 yo campaign.

Coil (Point Given-Theatrical mare) was privately purchased by the Lookin at Lucky group, after his maiden race, when he ran 3rd to another Baffert hopeful called Awesome Patriot (Awesome Again-Cee's Tizzy mare) 2yo Hollywood stake on Saturday......Coil smashed a MSW field this past Saturday at HP.

I wouldn't say he smashed that field, and I don't think there was much in that race, either.

Maybe smashed is a little enthusiastic. Handled the field rather easily.

Clear by 3 1/4 lengths is rather easily, no?

Not in my opinion. He was pretty hard used. He should improve as the distances increase though and is a horse to keep an eye on.

Very interesting pick - my buddy actually picked him out at the sales - they put him away for a spring campaign - could be Oaklawn...could be Dubai...seriously.

Well we should get clues this weekend,where the Top 2 Finishers in the Delta Jackpot will be in the Ky Derby unless they get injured or sold to Dubai.

When was the last time the top 2 finishers in the Delta Jackpot went onto the KY Derby? I'm fully aware of having them getting the needed earnings. It's often they're not good enough to warrant consideration (Turf War a couple of years ago, as well as many others).
