Gomez taken to hospital, Indy Bouquet put down. The horse just fell from watching it live.

Apparently the horse landed on top of him.

HRTV announced he was moving his limbs but is on a stretcher going to the hospital

speaking of which... anyone have any thoughts on the "jock bet" this year. Last year the "field" was a lock, and this sure changes things on that bet

Anyone know why Larry called the 8th?

He's doing post parades, changes, winner's circles, basically everything but call the races for the next two days. Trevor will call the BC races and almost all of the undercard.

So, what is Mark Johnson doing?

Nothing. The breeders cup has contracts with Trevor and Larry.

Good thing. Next we would have heard that Gomez went to the hospital to deliver twins and was going to name them Bob and Jill.

Nick i could have sworn i heard Mark Johnson say on ATR that Larry will be calling the races in house the next 2 days? Trevor on tv for the network, and Larry on the simulcast? Larry does a great job, neither guy tops Durkin who is sorely missed!

Nah the twins' names are a ridiculous rumor. He hasn't decided yet. It'll either be Jerry and Ann, John and Dottie, or Secretariat and Zenyatta.

I feel like Tony Black's discussed a jockey riding through injury or body soreness after a fall, but I don't know which ATR show or shows that might've been.
