Zartard gathering on Facebook!!!

Even if I liked her chances, which I obviously don't, I would never bet her at this point. She is far and away the most mushed horse in racing history.

Dahoss 10-29-2010 04:20 PM

This is just a preview of what is to come on 60 Minutes....don't watch if you've eaten recently.

The greatest evah!!!!!

Indian Charlie 10-29-2010 04:57 PM

The most impressive thing about the video is how eloquent Mike Smith is, and his ability to explain why Zenyatta is so great.

Arletta 10-29-2010 05:11 PM

I will miss it due to trick or treating.. dang it.!

He had to wear his helmet in the interview so his brain wouldn't leak all over the floor.

Peppers Pride: Greatest Horse Ever? Well, she's never been beaten. How can you argue with perfection?

I can't wait for the wildly inaccurate Disney movie about her in 10 years.

What brain dude?

I thought he was wearing the helmet so all the Zenyattards watching could tell the difference between the interviewer and the interviewee.

OMG! That's so kewl!!

In post position order, we have

1. Ruffian
2. Zenyatta
3. Rachel Alexandra
4. Smarty Jones
5. Cigar
6. Citation
7. Big Brown
8. Barbaro
9. Seabiscuit.
10. Affirmed

This is a race at Pimlico going the Preakness distance.

I like how most of them are under the whip right away.

I also like how the race is sponsored by CBS and 60 Minutes.

Zenyatta first, followed by Citation, Affirmed, Cigar, Seabiscuit, Ruffian, Barbaro, Smarty Jones, Big Brown and to put the cherry on top, Rachel Alexandra last!!

Seriously, these Zenyattards that absolutely have no grip on reality, they are portrayed perfectly in Idiocracy.

She might be 1/5 next weekend. If she runs, that is.

hockey2315 10-30-2010 01:32 AM

How many lengths ahead of Secretariat do we think Zenyatta would have finished in the Belmont? I know she does just what she needs to, but her largest winning margins have been on dirt.

jms62 10-30-2010 06:05 AM

How much did Collmus get for totally selling out?

santana 10-30-2010 06:22 AM

biggest underlay ever....next week. Sure there isnt that much to beat, but i am certainly not going to single her....

Just a joke on his part. Now i hope she runs off the board.

jms62 10-30-2010 06:33 AM

We all mock this but this will be the most watched Breeders Cup Classic ever thanks to 60 Minutes. Would make great theater for Zenyatta to win with her usual flair. It may convert a lot of the new eyes however I fear alot of folks will lose a lot of money they don't have on her which will have the opposite affect. Just my 2 dimes.

Thunder Gulch 10-30-2010 07:27 AM

Next announcement will be a seance this Friday where they spill the blood of Rachel Alexandra and torment a Goldlilova voodoo doll.

Port Conway Lane 10-30-2010 08:10 AM

So I downloaded the free version of the game and there are two races to play. Last years BCC and Derby.

Summer Bird wins every time without adjusting the settings. So I made every horse but Quality Road a rabbit and he won at 18-1. After that I chose to ride Zenyatta and increased her effort midrace and her energy level emptied to zero as she faded to last....

2Hot4TV 10-30-2010 03:57 PM

How many of you Zenyatta hater think she will be off the board in the classic?

nebrady 10-30-2010 08:54 PM

Great article in si about zenyatta!

I honestly can't understand why you keep bringing up Rail Trip. Is there a reference I'm not getting?

He brings it up because he's a Zenyattard trying to mock Zenyatta haters who made fun of the Zenyatta connections when they ducked Rail Trip, back around the Hollywood Gold Cup.

I know.

greedyway 10-31-2010 01:28 AM

I don't think they had Mike Smith programmed correctly in the simulator - does he ever really go inside?

jms62 10-31-2010 06:36 AM

I wonder how many times they ran the race during testing to finally get the field set... Secretariat would be the first horse coming to anyones mind when running a simulation of all time greats.

ateamstupid 10-31-2010 06:47 AM

I like how Rachel just happened to finish last. No way the BC people were sticking it to her for passing on two BCs.

trackrat59 10-31-2010 08:46 AM

Better than Secretariet? Sacrilegious in my book.

Nothing against Zen herself, but I will be glad when this is all over with.:wf

Thanks for showing the clip. I will not be watching 60 Minutes tonight.

Just imagine the uproar if some other racing organization made a similar simulation with Rachel winning and Zenyatta finishing last.

The hypocracy is literally sickening.

Barbaro only ran at PIM once, and that distance once. How do they program those things?

And why did they pick him anyway?

Comon man you haters grow up!

Are you haters for real! She is the best thing going for the horse industry now. The trainer had the patience to let her grow into her body and unlike some other trainers cares about the horse. She is amazing and when she wins the classics please realize you are seeing one of the greatest ever. Cherish it and quit being so negative. Her record does her talking for her!

Everything you just said is false. That's hard to do. Removing the training bra has been long overdue, but they refuse. A 'champion' who ducks the best competition 364 days out of the year is terrible for racing, tool.

I disagree. Why does she need to chase anyone to claim her champions status?? She showed up for 2 breeders cup (and won) and going on her third at CD. Champions do not need to chase contenders. Life at Ten, Blind Luck, Rachel, Havre de Grace connections know where Zenyatta is but they never took the chance to run against her. As much as you like to believe that John Sherrifs picks and choose the horses Zenyatta runs against and beats, we both know thats just not true.

Thank god connections of prior champions didn't have this attitude. Hopefully future ones won't either.

As much as you would like to believe surface has nothing to do with why no one will go out west to face her, we both know that's just not true.

You really believe what you just wrote? And that it's a level playingfield on the tires in Cali? Shirreffs has done everything except breed slow horses specifically to line up against her.

She showed up for three races. Woo. Hoo. Let's just induct her into the Hall of Fame today.
