The Vikings

I realize they were dead last in the NFL in points scored coming into this week - and were averging 2.75 turnovers per game on offense.

Billy Joe Gunrack now has more weapons than any QB in NFL history.

Moss, Pederson, Harvin, Shiancoe .. just wait till Rice is finally healthy. That to go along with a pretty solid defense.

I can't wait to see them tonight.

I really hope they run a spread offense. It's been discouraging hearing and reading the "West Coast offense" tag with this team. The offensive coordinator claimed he was going to use "Moss in the slot sometimes" ... isn't that what the fucl< Harvin is for?

I think they'll beat the Jets tonight - but this is such a tough game. A road game at night for a dome team against a legit #1 defense. Billy Joe Gunrack reportedly has elbow tendonitis in his throwing arm's elbow - and all the talk about him texting his cock pics to hotties might be a slight distraction.

If they carve up the Jets - it's going to be something special when Rice gets back later in the season.

Dahoss 10-11-2010 01:43 PM

I don't think you have to worry about them carving up anything unless they are making jack o' lantern's before the game. The slouch will be his usual quiet self while being guarded by Revis or Cromartie. Jets are getting Calvin Pace back and they add another weapon on offense with the return of Santonio Holmes.

Going to be a long night for Vikings.

:tro:

Got some kickass seats, can't wait. @ 'Pederson' BTW. The Jets have just as many weapons as the Vikings.

Get ready for a glorious upset!

They're 4.5-point dogs. It wouldn't exactly be Chaminade.

tough spot tonight joe

3 straight divisional wars will not make this an easy one tonight

The Indomitable DrugS 10-11-2010 07:04 PM

They just said Moss is only expected to see 25 to 30 plays tonight as thats all he's familar with so far in this offense.

I would bet my life on the over.

Everytime the Patriots tried to hand off and run when Moss wasn't on the field - it was an almost sure thing negative 2 yard play. They couldn't run to save their friggen life when they'd attempt to rest Moss for a play.

Keep him on the field for every running play at the least.

In Erie it is probably clear. Here, 20 minutes from the stadium it is currently a tornado.

I disagree, I love Minnesota tonight, and I hate Farve.

We both know why you love them. You'd bet against the Jets if they were playing a Pop Warner team.

Dahoss 10-11-2010 11:23 PM

Can't wait to see the Vikings win this game on a bs field goal. They got outplayed for 3 quarters, but Sanchez couldn't make the plays when it counted. Not sure if it's the pressure of Monday night, or what, but he's been awful tonight.

Dahoss 10-11-2010 11:29 PM

LOL...vintage Brett Favre.

philcski 10-11-2010 11:33 PM

Brett Favre.

Thank God John Madden isn't calling MNF anymore or his head might have exploded. Actually that might have been kind of cool to see.

And I always throw, yeah, I always throw somethin' wrong
You been puttin' up wit' my picks just way too long
I'm so gifted at findin' the cornerback the most
So I think it's time for me to throw a pick

Let's throw a pick for the douchebags,
Let's throw a pick for the assholes,
Let's throw a pick for the scumbags,
Every one of them that I know
Let's throw a pick for the jerkoffs
That'll never take work off
Baby, I got a plan
Throw an interception I sure can

She find pictures in my email
I sent this girl a picture of my, dick
I don't know what it is with females that look like my wife
But I'm not too good with that, s.hit
See, I could have me a good girl
And still be addicted to them hoodrats
And I just blame everything on you
At least you know that's what I'm good at

See, I always throw
And I always throw
Yeah, I always throw somethin' wrong
You been puttin' up with my picks just way too long

Baby, I got a plan
Throw an interception I sure can

I-in-in-in-intercept me
Intercept it, baby
(Look at, look at, look at, look at you)
Intercept it, baby
(Look at you, look at you, look at you)
Intercept
Intercept it, baby

I learned 1 thing from tonights game... The Vikings should be odds on to be in the Super Bowl, when this team meshes, and gets HEALTHY, ITS OVER.

dalakhani 10-11-2010 11:47 PM

Random observations:

- the jets weren't that good vs the run. I was surprised the vikes didn't run more.

- revis got handled a couple of times. Probably a result of injury and lack of preseason.

- Sanchez Didn't hurt them. Playcalling at end for jets was brutal.

- jets really took care of the ball. Difference in the game.

If you aren't sucking the Patriots dick then your slobbing all over the Ravens. Now that your muse was traded to the Vikings you're on their dick now?

Make up your mind, whore.

Take a gander at their schedule.

The Indomitable DrugS 10-11-2010 11:50 PM

Favre's elbow had to be nagging the hell out of him. He missed a few easy throws to wide open guys late.

That offense was horrid early - false starts - illegal formations - two lost fumbles on snaps. Couldn't pick up a blitz to save their life. Couldn't get a first down to save their life.

When Moss learns the offense - and Rice gets healthy and comes back - Favre gets over his elbow - this team will come on strong. Problem is that their schedule is so brutal - they might be 3-6 by the time all that happens.

Abandon this West Coast offense garbage - put Favre in shotgun almost every play - and run the spread like they did in Minny in '98 and in New England from '07 till last week. Percy Harvin will put up Wes Welker like catch totals - and way better stats than Wes did because he's better with the ball in his hands and is a ton faster. Adrian Peterson will avg 8 yards a friggen carry running from the spread in a dome.

The Jets had a lot of chances to score. Sanchez blew throws in the first half and anytime you don't put away a team, this kind of stuff will happen.

You need to stop hedging Gales. The Vikings should have won this game. They were outplayed for 3 quarters and had a chance to win. But they didn't.

Favre choked when it counted and as bad as Sanchez played, he didn't turn it over. Favre did, like he usually does.

Ravens, Pats vs Vikings, Packers.... SUPER BOWL IS EASY
I would appreciate if you chilled out a bit, Did I even mention South Carolina 2 you?

RockHardTen1985 10-11-2010 11:54 PM

People fail to realize Sidney Rice is a legit #1 wideout. His injury is huge.

sanchez is fine , no to's is the main thing , jets will hammer the pats in the re-match , NE has no d

Interesting call coach with the falcons. Does anyone have current odds for them to win NFC? That team can play with anyone.

Yeah I saw it. What you fail to realize is you're a perennial loser like your man crush Randy Moss. Perennial losers hate on teams, players, coaches that win. It's understandable you would go against Alabama.

ateamstupid 10-12-2010 12:01 AM

Damn what a blast. Say what you want, but this is a game the same old Jets find a way to lose. Favre is who we knew he was. Keep losing money you moron.

Great Runaway parody Pants.

The Indomitable DrugS 10-12-2010 12:04 AM

The AFC is a 3 way dog fight between the Jets, Steelers, and Ravens. Forget the rest.

The NFC is a pile of sh!t - whoever gets hot late wins it. I think Minny's the team who can go 8-0 in the 2nd half of the season - but they might have to just to make the playoffs.

Did not expect this sort of response. I went against Bama because the SEC is loaded and deep, no team can get up every single week to win, and if they do they will not always cover inflated lines....

philcski 10-12-2010 12:04 AM

I'll take Steelers-Falcons... but I have a better chance of hitting the pick-6 at Keeneland on Saturday than getting it right at this point in the season two years in a row.

Maybe half right. Spurrier goes to the swamp and wins? Lets not go bats.hit. Realize that Bama played a horrible game.

This is the most dead on analysis you'll get. The Jets normally lose this game and tonight they didn't. Favre blew it when Sanchez didn't.

No amount of Randy Moss nutlicking will change that.

NY Jets 2 Randy Moss- 0

Bama is on the ropes right now but they have essentially 2 cupcakes and a bye week before LSU. LSU - Bama is for the SEC West. No way Cheez-It and Laptop Bandit come to Bryant-Denny and win if the SEC championship is on the line. You would have to be a non-functioning ****** to take Auburn in that spot.
