Discreetly Mine injured, out of Cup
 

The Breeders' Cup Sprint lost yet another top contender when trainer Todd Pletcher revealed Discreetly Mine will miss the race because of an injury to his left stifle. Division leader Majesticperfection was the first major defection from the race when retired because of injury late this summer.

Pletcher said it took several days to diagnose the exact nature of Discreetly Mine's problem but received the bad news from Dr. Larry Bramlage on Wednesday.

Well that race just went from a Race 9(1 horse in P4 and P6) stone cold pick at 2-1 to who the hell knows? Could be a great betting race

I don't recall the Sprint division ever being as thin as it is this year, especially now with the injuries.

This will make a usual wide open race even more wide open.

When did I say he sucked? I was responding to you saying the Warrior sucks? How did DM finish up in the Bishop? I was soooo excited to bet against him in the Sprint, so this SUCKS FOR ME.

Girolamo is looking better and better.

I'm still holding out for Rail Trip. I'll even settle for A Little Warm.

The BC Dirt Mile really blows.

Should have been removed as soon as Furthest Land hit the wire first last year.

Just saw that Musket Man was entered in the Monmouth Cup. I thought he was sick or something.

A Little Warm actually makes a lot of sense for the Sprint. He's run well going short and his trainer is 32% the last five years going route to sprint with an ROI of $2.32. I wonder if McGlaughlin will take a shot with Bank Merger. He ran well against the grain in the Kings Bishop and is pretty talented.

I know I'll probably get laughed at, but I think Lukas should send Hamazing Destiny to the race...I know JerseyJ will like that. He's run really well at Churchill and on his best day has run as fast as most of these horses.

that and the F & M Sprint race have also thinned out the quality sprint entries.

I'm actually pathetic for knowing Hamazing Destiny. I don't think he's ever won a stake but he's a personal favorite.

Bank Merger better run better than Latigo Shore did in the Vosburgh.

He's running in the Gallant Bob at Parx on Saturday.

Smiling Tiger's coming out of the Gallant Bob but it still looks like there's a ton of speed, so Bank Merger should be set up well. Whether he's good enough...

I'd be much more inclined to like A Little Warm in the Sprint but who knows what they'll do.

I needed Bank Merger to become rich, as Ntamm really loved him and gave him to me 4 days before. If he is any good, does he not win the Bishop for fun, with that setup?

Ya he had the 1 day fever. Ryan said he would miss the JCGC and the next day said he would be here instead since it gave him another week to train

Trappe Shot was mentioned for the Dirt Mile but like said he has not done anything since the Travers
