SCUDSBROTHER 08-10-2010 06:57 PM

Philly Fans

Like the KID with the funny name (DOMONIC.) Anybody getting hits with their hands that high has a lot of potential. Hitting lefty, he hit one foul in the seats down the left field line. If his hands were lower, he wouldn't of been quite that late. He couldn't hit Padilla's high fastball. I don't see how he hits any high fastballs.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-10-2010 08:23 PM

Hello! ....LOL..BANG!!

SCUDSBROTHER 08-10-2010 08:25 PM

Give you Kemp for him.

Antitrust32 08-11-2010 07:44 AM

LOL. Kendrick & the Bullpen (sounds like the name of a terrible band) were quite normal last night.

Dom Brown will make everyone forget about Jayson Werth next year. This kid is for real. He has the chance to be an all star year in and year out. In two years, people are going to just be talking about Brown, Howard & Utley as the men among boys. Sure his batting stance is unorthidox, but check out this kids #'s in 2A and 3A this year. and he has 9 ribbies in the bigs and was just called up not long ago. & I think his arm from the outfield is the best on the team (& that is saying a lot cause Werth has a huge arm)

He'll probably be sent down when Shane comes back, because the dont want Dom on the bench rotating in the outfield, they want him to play every night. He'll be a September call up and will immediately be our best bat off the bench.

You can keep Kemp!

SCUDSBROTHER 08-11-2010 09:29 AM

Yea, I don't think Kemp is very wanted by many teams. Even Rihanna proly moved on to a pony or something.

i'm very interested in how Oswalt performs tonite.. hopefully he can throw a CG so we can keep Romero, Baez & Herndon on the bench. They are like the Bermuda Triangle of pitchers.. make balls disappear into the seats.. make lead disappear into losses.

Well, I'm certainly not expecting to to win the series in Philly. We are lucky to take 1 game per series on the road. They are good enough, but they just don't compete. It's like our only shot is guys like Lilly n' Podsedniik will somehow show them how to compete hard. I know the pin is improved a bit. Nobody has hit Janzen yet. He has guys throwing their gear. I think Dotel will get more comfortable. Domonic actually hit a pretty decent pitch off him last night. The kid gets solid contact on some pretty decent pitches. If I am a pitcher, I only throw him rising heat. It's very difficult to get on top of that when your hands are where his start out at. Far as the relievers you mentioned. You've been very lucky to get what you have out of Romero. He came to you as ****. I remember watching him pitch for the Halos. He was bound to return to **** at some point. That guy getting a ring was like Rihanna in a white wedding dress.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-11-2010 08:26 PM

See how mad Sweeney was when Janzen struck him out with the rising heat? They almost all are real mad like that. That must really look good until they try to hit it.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-11-2010 08:53 PM

Knew them puzzies gunna lay FOR YOU on the road. They're bout as competitive as Liberace. You gun have to get another test for oswalt, cuz they were gunna lay no matter what. They're so satisfied by winning 1 on the road. They can't possibly get back up again.

Antitrust32 08-12-2010 07:13 AM

Why can't the Braves just LOSE already!!

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:18 PM

LOL....Your team has a ton of offensive heart. You'll make the post.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:21 PM

He's gunna let Ibanez pitch with the tie run at the plate?

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:25 PM

Wow. Miracle that George got Ibanez. That might be the last good batter he will get out.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:28 PM

Guess we gunna get the one n' only Miss Brox to perform in a few minutes. Can't wait. Bitch got a 3 run cushion. Hope she don't need 5. If she's tryna hit the edges, it's gunna be bad.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:32 PM

Lovely start, of course (hit Polanco.)

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:38 PM

Walks Sweeney. So, the bitch has a 3 run cushion, and lets the first two batters get on. k? This is why I hate her.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:41 PM

Walks Werth. I hate this Bitch so much.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 09:47 PM

K..That's why I hate that bitch more than cancer. That was a hanging slider. Who wouldn't kill that? K Mr. fkn Indiana? You stickin' up for a piece of sht. All year . Last year. 2 Years. How many times this bitch got to do that chokin' **** before your slow Indiana brain gets it? She is a choker. Always been a choker. Somehow, I saw this a long time ago, and you takin' forever to get it.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-12-2010 10:02 PM

KEEP CRYING!!!

Can't have a conversation with your hypocritical a$$ if you like to continue to try some childish insults. Thanks for dragging me down to your level.

Where's Coach? I need a LA FAN picture. Wait a minute I need a picture of Chihuahua with tears rolling down complaining about his poorly little Dodgers.

GO GIANTS!!

You know he may not be pitching well since the all-star game. Maybe he's turned into Brad Lidge. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless it continues next year. But the Yankees are looking for a future closer, I still don't think they'll mind having him, yet.

Funny I thought Oracle was gone from here.

Never has pitched well in important clutch situations. Only when they were severe underdogs. She turned witch when the team wasn't supposed to beat the Cubs, and the Cards. When they were given a chance in a series, she choke.... Always...It's 100% nerves.

Antitrust32 08-13-2010 07:43 AM

My Mom & brother were at the game last night.

I text my mom close to 10pm & ask what the score is

From: Mom "Losing 9 to 2" 9:57PM

so I figure its basically over & go watch Law & Order SVU

another text

From: Dan "We scored 8 runs in last 2 innings to win 10-9" 11:02PM

First thing I thought of was you SCUDS.. You are definately on to something.

If it wasnt the Phillies that had come back to win, I'd feel sorry for you.

But Brad Lidge is my closer, so we have some things in common.

I swear the Phillies could be down by 47 runs in the bottom of the 9th to the Dodgers and still they would believe that they could come back & win.

Obviously that would be a game started by Kendrick............:D

of course!

the scary thing though, if it was an away game.. we could score 48 runs in the top of the 9th to take the lead, and Lidge would come out and blow the save!

Antitrust32 08-13-2010 08:51 AM

Broxton faced five batters and retired none. Citizens Bank Park is officially in his head.

The fans mockingly chanted Broxton's name as he threw ball after ball. He hit Placido Polanco to lead off the inning. He walked Mike Sweeney in an epic nine-pitch at-bat. Werth walked on five pitches to put the tying run on base.

Ben Francisco hit a sure double-play ball to third base that skipped right through the legs of Casey Blake and into left field. Two runs scored and the stadium - half full because fans had left following another distasteful display from the bullpen - was as loud as it has been all season.

Joe Torre came to the mound to talk to his pitcher, but never had anyone warm up. This was Broxton's game. His 22d pitch, an 88-m.p.h. slider, was smashed by Ruiz.

Werth held up at second to make sure it fell. He was almost passed on the bases by Francisco, who was running at full speed all the way. They both scored easily.

Hamels has been nothing short of dominant lately. I think he even hit 96 on the radar last game.

Its too bad that he's lucky to get 1 run from his offense though.

It's really too bad that he sucked in the playoff last October, otherwise you guys might be looking to three-peet this season.

yeah he was terrible.

subtract him & lidge and we could have won. when you have a 3 run lead in a WS game, you are not supposed to lose said game.

with that said,

I'll forgive him if he wins us another one this year :)

First we have to make it into these darn playoffs. the Braves dont know how to lose. Here's hoping that the Dodgers get hot the next 3 games & keep on helping the Phightins!

SCUDSBROTHER 08-13-2010 06:49 PM

2 years late....Broxton has officially been taken out of the closer's role. They are very lucky someone didn't off him while they were having to be convinced to do this.
