Rats In Suburbs

You have to be kidding me. I have like 2 or 3 rats in my backyard underneath a fence and around a garden. I thought rats were an inner city thing. Not anymore. Got an exterminator. I blame Obama.

Sightseek 08-02-2010 01:33 PM

NJ....

I hear ya, but I'm out in the woods. There is nothing. Apparently they eat dog poop so I've been feeding them and not knowing it.

Sightseek 08-02-2010 01:39 PM

I would freak out. I practically sprint out of the hay loft when I go to get hay because of the little mice.

Indian Charlie 08-02-2010 02:09 PM

People are retarded.

herkhorse 08-02-2010 05:34 PM

Holy Crap!!! Just so you know, they've made it to the country too. :zz:

Randall there are rats everywhere. They are just easier to find in the city because there isn't tall grass shrub etc...... to hide in.

You're right obviously. I was just naive

paisjpq 08-02-2010 08:37 PM

I had a serious rat problem in my barn recently...2 weeks of bait stuffed down their tunnels took care of it. I know they're gone because the mice are back, they don't share space very well.

herkhorse 08-02-2010 08:42 PM

after you have rats, mice are cute little buggers

What is Mineshaft doing in your backyard? Cant we find a better spot for him, under your fence might be looked at as abuse.

2 more. 5 total. Mother****ers.

paisjpq 08-05-2010 12:27 PM

really gross story. i kept smelling dead smell when i was in my feed room but couldnt really locate it, i figured a mouse or something must have died in a wall. about a week went by and the weather got warm and the smell got worse so i started hunting for the source....the cat had been killing rats and not eating them, I found a pile of half rotten carcasses inside and empty water bucket, there must have been 7 or 8 of them all covered in maggots. i about lost my lunch. That was when i learned that I had rats in the first place....bait took care of the rest.
