BP Gives Up
They can't stop it till August.
*EFFORTS TO END FLOW ARE OVER UNTIL RELIEF WELLS ARE DONE BP DECIDED NOT TO ATTACH 2ND BLOWOUT PREVENTER, ALLEN SAYS By Jim Polson June 1 (Bloomberg) -- BP Plc has decided not to attach a second blowout preventer on its leaking well in the Gulf of Mexico and efforts to end the flow are over until the relief wells are finished, according to the U.S. Coast Guard’s Thad Allen, who spoke at a press conference today. |
I would say containment in the Gulf is the best we can hope for. There is a possiblilty the entire east coast gets affected by the end of this. A complete and utter cluster****.

Im curious to know why we havent called the Army Corp of Engineers in to see what they think can be done ......and bill BP for it. It seems our government is very content to just sit by and let BP do all the decision making.

Just let it flow. |
My guess is they knew they couldn't stop it from the beginning. Pure window dressing for a month to buy time.

Guess they are worried that they'd make an even worse situation (didn't they say this could even be worse.) Nobody likes to talk about it, but they could make it even worse. For all we know, they did make it worse, and the press will catch up to that in a week or so.

Im sure O'dumbass will keep on accepting money from BP. Which means he won't do anything about this enviromental disaster. He could care less about people's jobs being lost due to this spill.

sarah palin, always good for a laugh. from one neophyte to another.... |
Down another 12% today. Less than a hundred billion dollar company. Towards bankruptcy and beyond.
|
The financial pages have said the other companies are circling for cheap takeover. Restructure the debt of the disaster as a separate entity.
|
Towards bankruptcy? LOL ok.

If anything you should look at buying a few shares. Once the silver fox leaves and the replacement well is running this story will die down. |
